"The scene in the swamp at the end when the brothers talk about love and betrayal and he says, “It didn’t matter if she loved me. I loved her.” Poetry. A life lesson. Also, most effective car crash I’ve seen on film: jarring and lethal, it makes me feel like I’m the one getting hit every time I see it… Nicolas Cage acting with Nicolas Cage."

"Like Orlando, I wrote poetry. In my adolescent fantasy I read this book and believed it was a hallucinogenic, interactive biography of my own life and future. For me, this trifle of phantasmagoria has always been a practical manual. A tourist guide to human experience, the best of wise companions. At least, it was my first: a message in a bottle from an imaginary friend."

"Hart was a wonderful novelist—she wrote Damage, which has been made into a film, but also Sin and Oblivion—but she used to host these wonderful poetry evenings, and we’d all come and read for her at the library. First, she’d talk, without notes, for about 45 minutes about an author. She was never dry or academic, and would find ways to humanize her subjects"

"As modern as a film can be while still remaining highly romantic. It's part journalism, part fiction, part poetry… Based on the photos and relationships the late great Mary Ellen Mark developed with street kids in Seattle for a photo series for LIFE magazine. LIFE magazine photos have birthed great films like this one and Little Fugitive (kind of). I’ll never forget Dewayne, Tiny and Rat."

Recently had some great feedback from @Eleanor regarding the 'Fiction & Poetry' Book category/genre.

Do you think that Fiction should be a category in itself, or do you think that fiction books should fit into the other categories/genres?

Would love to hear opinions in the comments to!

Fiction should be a stand-alone category
The Books should fit into other categories
