Two Sided Coin
The Departed- is a excellent film. The cast, the plot, the mystery, the thrills, the suspense and the crime are all excellent.
The plot: South Boston cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) goes under cover to infiltrate the organization of gangland chief Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). As Billy gains the mobster's trust, a career criminal named Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) infiltrates the police department and reports on its activities to his syndicate bosses. When both organizations learn they have a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin must figure out each other's identities to save their own lives.
Its a excellent film and a must watch.

Two Brothers
We Own The Night- is a good crime drama film. It does have action, suspense and thrills as well.
The plot: In 1988, New York's police wage an all-out war on drugs, and guilty and innocent alike become casualties. Bobby Green (Joaquin Phoenix), manager of a nightclub that is often frequented by gangsters, tries to remain neutral but hides a potentially fatal secret: His brother (Mark Wahlberg) and father (Robert Duvall) are both cops. After his brother is wounded in an assassination attempt, Bobby can no longer remain neutral. He joins forces with his brother for an all-out assault on the mob.
Its a decent crime drama.

This is my second book by the author and I struggled to get into both. They weren't written with the smoothness I like from my stories and I didn't particularly care about the characters.
The beginning grabbed me--the tension between them in that police interview--but I quickly grew a little bored. I didn't feel like we got to know the characters all that well so when the sex scenes started, I zoned out and just plain skipped the ones that followed. I just didnt want to carry on so decided to give up on it.
Not an author for me.

Hilarious and very British
If you loved Shaun of the dead, you will love this movie too! Sergeant Angel is the best performing police officer in London, and he is sent to the quiet village of Stanford. While everything is quiet and people seem nice, something seems odd and Angel is about to uncover the mystery.
I loved the British humor in this movie, and all the action! Also, it is amazing to see some legendary actors appear as well (the actors that play The Hound from Game of Thrones and Argus Filch from Harry Potter).
Definitely a good choice to spend some time in a good atmosphere! Highly recommended.
