Great one!
Ryan Reynolds is one of my favorite actors. This movie is another example why. Great action with plenty of humor. The story's premise was interesting and it kept you watching. Everyone else delivered great performances as well. Great cinematography and effects topped it off. If you're into action movies or political thrillers this is one for you. Worth a watch!

As a white, middle class American, most of my education about colonialism and the resulting systemic and institutionalized racism and poverty have come from my own efforts to broaden my understanding. The more I learn, the more I am appalled not only by the realities themselves but also by the huge missing gap in my American education.
Trevor Noah's Born a Crime provides incredible insight into apartheid in South Africa as well as it's lasting effect, even after it "ended." I was already a bit of a fan of Noah's humor and political commentary, and his memoir is not a disappointment. He tackles big issues with a sense of humor that does not in any way minimize those issues.

This kept showing up on my Kindle Unlimited suggestions. I am not so into the political thing so I stayed away. That is until I was a online question and answer session with the author and decided to check them out. Now I am hooked. I love the characters. They are real and have a sense of humor. Some of the snarkiness of the dialogue just makes me laugh out loud. Needless to say I plan to read more.
