Rolling Stone's 20th greatest album of all time
Superb album. So many of the best pop songs of all time are included here, from the title track, to PYT to Billie Jean to one of my favourite of his songs Wanna Be Starting Something. Simply an utterly awesome listen.

"The first album that I ever heard that made me realize that I wanted to make music was by a band called Joy Electric, and the album was called Melody. It’s like a really bizarre fairy tale synth pop from 1993 and they are out of Orange Country, California."

My daughter bought this on vinyl for her birthday, ( she is 14, and just discovering what real music sounded like! )and it’s really good! Gone has teen sugar pop, and in its place, Harry has evolved into a stylish act with grownup vocals and songs. A must for anyone.

This style should never die!
Love this album so much, the track Once In A Lifetime is a superb example of why the Talking Heads are such an original and unique sounding band. Their blend of post-punk and preppy pop is something that no one can equal- Brilliant!

Rolling Stone's 424th greatest album of all time
This is a bit better for a Springsteen album. I still can't take to his voice but the songs are decent, a mix of blues, soft rock and the occasional pop song thrown in (drum machines and synth and everything!).

The Conjuring (2013)

"My family, we only watch scary movies together. We do not watch comedy – anything – we just watch scary movies. The only other times that I have seen scary movies is when I’m watching Netflix in my room. And I think I’ve probably watched The Conjuring 100 times. I’m not exaggerating: I’ve watched The Conjuring a hundred times. I could recite the movie. A lot of scary movies usually just [feature] a bunch of pop-ups, which is pretty scary, but I don’t really think it’s that scary – it catches you off guard and you’re just shocked. But with The Conjuring it’s actually creepy stuff. And they have a lot of things that I have phobias of. It all piles up. It’s not just like, “Ooh that was scary for a second!” It’s like “Oh my God, that’s so scary!” and then it keeps adding on. It’s not a pop-up and then in another 20 minutes it’s going to be another pop-up. It’s: “Why is she still walking towards me? And why is it still getting more intense?”"

Not the new 2Pac
At the time Trae was being hailed in the press as the new 2Pac. I never understood why. He wasn't overtly political, he had a deep voice and different flow, was far more pop but did have charisma. He's still pretty unknown which says it all really

Ceara is an up-and-coming 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Not too long ago, she released a lovely debut pop tune, entitled, “Say Something”.

“If you feel what I feel why don’t you say something. If it was me you know I’d say something.” – lyrics

‘Say Something’ tells an interesting tale of a young woman who desires for her significant other to express himself.

The likable tune contains a relatable storyline and pleasing vocals. Also, the song possesses groovy instrumentation flavored with electro-pop and dance elements.

Not too long ago, Ceara Cavalieri graduated from UCLA and she is now pursuing a career in music.
