Don't get me wrong, I love magic and Pride and Prejudice and the ability to commiserate with a fictional English grad student on the development of a thesis, but I was mostly underwhelmed by this novel. I wanted it to be so much better than it was. Still decent, but it had the ability to be amazing.

It was good to read a female's version, especially one of an Apache Pilot. You have to admire her strength and determination to not let prejudice prevent her from achieving her goals in life!

All I can truly say about this novel and its counterpart was that I could not believe how...raunchy they were. I was expecting novel similar to Pride and Prejudice but not only did it lake Austen's humor, it lack censorship.

As a fan of this author and of the classic Pride and Prejudice, I began reading this one with pretty high expectations. However, I was disappointed.

While the writing was as good as expected, I found myself simply not enjoying the story.
