Probably my favourite of the prequels which is saying way better than the other two prequels Ustinov for darth vader at the end of the movie there's plenty to like about the movie just a shame they saved the best for last

Okay so with rewatching Alien Covenant this week, I need to ask - what are your views on the Alien prequels? Covenant and/or Promeheus?

That would've been a much better idea especially as more of a sequel. I just feel that with these prequels, they're going back into the origins of something we don't really need to know. Do we really care much about where the xenomorphs came from? Considering the explanations already put forward and the fact they're planning on making 2 more prequels, I'd say it's better not knowing the back story. I hate the fact that they feel the need to explain everything nowadays.

I agree. The main generic problem with a prequel is you already know how it's going to end up. You already know Mace Windu and Amidala are going to die and Golum will end up with the ring..I always think it is more interesting and can cover new ground moving forward rather than backward.

Slightly predictable with Palpatine being related to Rey as she did the lightning thing. Also, it seems they were taking the scene directly from the prequels. (0 more)

Loved the movie fills in the gaps from the prequels to new hope showing us how they stole the death star plans and get it back to the rebebellon. Felicty jones is the star of the movie the rest of the are also good nice to see darth vader as well full marks for movie

The story itself is amazing goes for a different direction than the usual Star Wars movies the characters are pretty good has a much more dark and gritty feel to it then usually found in Star Wars movies (0 more)

Fun little callbacks to the originals
Acting is actually quite good from the newcomers.
The direction is spot on.
This is a fun time at the movies.
This is a very solid addition to the Star Wars franchise. Here's an amazing alternate movie poster in the style of stained glass, which I kinda LOVE.
