Watched last night on blu ray and in colour and loved everything about from the script the setting a prison the doctor played by Jon pertwee in his element now into his second season as the doctor. But let's not forget to mention the villain of the story the main villain of the entire season the master as played by rodger delgardo most doctor who fans will tell he was the first and probably the best master of all time he gives the role gravitas he can be both charming and then totally evil at the same time its shame he died in tragic car accident while on filming abroad . anyway still good story some nice action scenes near the end Katy manning is brilliant as jo grant in only her second story let's not forget unit always realied on to come to the rescue. Wont mention the dodgy looking dragon at the end of episode 2

"I’m going to say Seven Samurai by Kurosawa. I’m going big to start with. I just, I feel like it’s close to being the perfect film. It’s thrilling. It’s adventurous. The action is incredible. The final battle, the rain-soaked battle, is just an absolutely phenomenal feat. When we did The Raid 2, we did a prison riot in the rain. We stopped the rain after about a day or two because it was costing too much money, and so we just shot the rest of it in just wet mud. That was us, modern technology, modern experiences, being able to be actually relatively quite comfortable in comparison. I cannot imagine the logistical nightmare that would have gone into them shooting that sequence in that time on film, so it’s an astounding achievement in cinema. It means something, and you feel something for each of those characters as well. I just feel like Seven Samurai is a no brainer."

"As if Dallas needed another reason to be avoided. One of the scariest movies ever made, this is the story that drained the quirky from the bodies of Errol Morris’s two previous films. With the Rashomon-like changing re-creations, the doomy circularity of Philip Glass’s score, the dead-wrong psychologizing of the Dallas detectives, and some of the greatest dialogue ever not written for film, The Thin Blue Line builds a sense of impending dread better than the clicking incline of a dilapidated roller coaster. It illustrates how comprehensively police can be blinded by the avenging desire of an enraged community. The contrast between personalities is pronounced. Even from prison (for a different crime), David Harris can’t stop smiling. And Randall Dale Adams is incapable of a smile—his eyes wide, still unable to believe this isn’t a dream. But just like Adams’s attorney Edith James says, quoting the judge: “What do you care? He’s only a drifter."

Eleven years ago Marie Carter was convicted of killing her two best friends. And she's paid the price. Now she is being released from prison. It's time to go home. But life has moved on, and Marie has nowhere to go. Her parents have disowned her; her friends have abandoned her; even her kids don't want to know. But some people out there are watching her, following her every move - they know that Marie Carter wants retribution . . .

Been a while since I read a Martina Cole and I forgot how brutal her books can be. Bringing so much mayhem into her characters lives. She has to be one of my favourite authors she makes everything hit home and so real. Your heart was lost to Marie from the start and the strong feelings you develop along the way reading this is like a rollercoaster. Only issue I felt it a bit drawn out in the middle but still a brilliant book.
