Classic Rowan Atkinson, I really do love Johnny English. The story is over the top and I love that it steps into the latest technology with all the problems usually faced by Johnny.
So much fun, mindless film for when you want a laugh.

This book was so emotional! It was funny, clever, concerning, and so very sad. The main characters interacted splendidly and it was interesting to see how they each chose how to handle their similar problems. I read this in one night and was a sobbing mess at the end.
Ross (3282 KP) rated The Black Album by Jay-Z in Music
May 15, 2020
Rolling Stone's 349th greatest album of all time
Superb hip hop album by one of the greatest. While his voice lacks depth somewhat, compared to others, he makes up for this with excellent lyricism and the music backing it. Including 99 Problems, Dirt off Your Shoulder and an excellent reworking of Madonna's Justify My Love.
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2065 KP) rated I Even Funnier (I Funny, #2) in Books

As Jamie Grimm prepares for the regionals in the Planet's Funniest Kid Contest, he must continue to deal with typical middle school problems like figuring out girls and relationships, his friend's problems, and tutoring his cousin who also happens to be the class bully.
I enjoyed this book more than the first in the series, possibly because I saw the more slice of life nature of the book. Some stories start and end early while others for running threads that last longer. Holding it all together is the comic contest. The fun illustrations help make this book a very fast read.

Beginners guide to philosophical problems
This was required reading for my first philosophy class, as a complete beginner it is a great introduction to the problems within philosophy. Most essays easy to read and understand. This isn't just for people studying philosophy, it's for anyone questioning any preconceptions or beliefs they have, this helps you break them down and think logically about them, sometimes you change your mind and something's you find valid reasons for your beliefs and they are reinforced.
Philosophy is a great place to start if you find your life is at a cross roads or you are questioning g things in your life.

Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Tron: Betrayal in Books
Jan 12, 2018
A very enjoyable ride that spans the gap between Tron and Tron: Legacy, showcasing the origins of the grid, and Flynn's growing problems dedicating himself to the three worlds he finds himself in: the Grid, running Encom, and parenthood. Great art and storytelling, and while we know the inevitable conclusion it moves toward, most importantly, it FEELS like Tron.

This moved the story along for the first film with some nice call backs to James Franko's character later on.
Overall I enjoyed this but it suffers from the same problems as the first film, a slightly meandering plot that would have been better served by less running time.
