I hadn't seen this film in several years, and I was curious to see how it held up. I was pleasantly surprised that the story held up so well. while having some pacing problems, overall I thought that the plot and the characters did a good job of serving the story. The animation is what doesn't hold up in this film. Still enjoyable though!

Crass, crude and clumsy. I couldn't wait to finish this book. I found the storyline ridiculous and was patched together with lots of lectures about the plight of Africa. Whilst I think that enlightening us all about the corruption and aid problems is a noble cause, the way it was shoehorned in around this ludicrous poorly written story was a shameful insult for a novel.

Something unique. Not like all the other tv shows so entertaining yet its only about everyday problems. Its also deeper in that it shows how people cope differently with grief. It really does walk to line between sad and hilarious as you see the main character use sarcasm to deal with his wife’s death.
