Wow, am I glad this this is a complete series. The ending is a cliffhanger so I have already downloaded the final book but thought I would quickly review before reading it.

The story really continues to grow in this book with both Elder and Pim being honest about their lives and feelings.

There are some emotional scenes in this book and one in particular made me cry, this is very rare, I am not a crier.

I still can not recommend this series enough, once you get past the darker content, mainly book one, then it is truly amazing. I love the way both characters are so really with faults and problems and stuff to deal with, however they try to see past that to each other.

This my first in this kind of book dealing with art and history. It a good book and interesting. It deals with Germany and take over of Europe in the 1940's. I liked the idea of the painting talking and telling detail about his owners. That what is been so neat about it. I love the fact that Giovanni started with a discovery of stolen art.

Giovanni has some family problems that it so funny in a way that he find a discovery to lift his spirit. The author was good and i enjoyed the book. I rate this book at 4 1/2 stars. Those the painting stories about himself is so funny that you want to laugh. It makes you want to find out more of they mystery of the painting.

I had a hard time putting this one down, it grabbed me from page one. The writing style was great, I really enjoyed the originality of the plot, and the pace was perfect, no real slow spots. I would have liked a little more character development, especially with the secondary characters since they are integral to the story. As the heroine, I wish Macie had done more to deal with her problems herself instead of always relying on her friends. Parts of the ending felt a little too convenient, as tho the author was in a rush to tie up loose ends. I'm not sure if there will be anymore books about the witchtown world but I certainly hope so! *Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!*

413. 68 Kill. Chip's girlfriend Liza is gorgeous. Liza's sugar daddy has 68 thousand bucks in a safe that she wants to steal. Oh yea Liza is a prostitute and more than likely a sociopath. I know, you shouldn't make judgements about people based on only a few observations... With that, Liza also murders her sugar daddy and his wife, ooops and apparently they had another guest over, beauty, Violet that witnesses the whole thing. Now a sociopath would probably just kill the witness right? Liza does not, Chip is very relieved at this. Liza informs Chip that they'll just sell Violet to her brother Dwayne. Hmm. What to do? Love, makes you do crazy things... That kicks off quite the night for Chip in this violent black comedy. Filmbufftim on FB!
