Lies She Told is an amazing blend of psychological thriller and twisty whodunnit! While the first third of the novel feels a bit sluggish and the protagonists unsure and whiny, it quickly evolves into a tale that can't be put down.

"The first book that made me curious about a fictional character’s inner life. The whole thing was so psychological, he was so lost. And I think I realized that teenagers have always been this way—since the beginning of time."

The Woman That Lies Beneath
What Lies Beneath- is a very underrated psychological horror thriller. Its a very intresting psychological thriller, that will twist your insantity until the very end of the movie. Its only downfall, its somewhat boring and slow, but the acting from both Harrison and Michelle are excellent.

The plot: It had been a year since Dr. Norman Spencer (Harrison Ford) betrayed his beautiful wife Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer). But with Claire oblivious to the truth, Norman's life and marriage seem so perfect that when Claire tells him of hearing mysterious voices and seeing a young woman's image in their home, he dismisses her terror as delusion. Claire moves closer to the truth and it becomes clear that this apparition will not be dismissed, and has come back for Dr. Spencer and his beautiful wife.

Like i said its a very underrated psychological horror thriller, that is excellent.

Psychological horror at its best
I had to text the entire time, and fast forward through bits because it is terrifying at points on so many levels.

Gerald and his wife attempt to reignite their marriage by going to a secluded location to play sex games. Unfortunately he leaves her handcuffed while having a heart attack. In between, there are deep psychological traumas and hallucinations, gore, and you wonder what's real as she continues to run out of time.

It's pure Stephen King, mixing real emotions with the downright frightening. That last scene would never have happened but my heart is still racing.

Great, no frills British psychological drama
It's rare to find psychological thrillers that aren't over the top. Instead of bodies piling up, this entire novel premises around one particular child abduction and how the people around were affected. The widow of the alleged criminal is a completely flawed person, battling her own demons whilst trying to live with him and the press / police constantly hounding her. She is by far imperfect. If I say anymore it may reveal too much. Looking forward to see this on the small screen.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving
The Gift- is a unique psychological horror film directed by Joel Edgerton. This is Joel's directoral debut and he did a excellent job. Joel also produced it, wrote it and acted in it. I love the psychological espect of this film, and also the twist and turns throught it until the very end of the film.

The plot: When married couple Simon (Jason Bateman) and Robyn (Rebecca Hall) unexpectedly encounter Gordo (Joel Edgerton), an acquaintance from Simon's past, little do they know that their perfect lives will be thrown into a terrifying tailspin. At first, Simon doesn't recognize Gordo, but after a troubling series of uninvited encounters and mysterious gifts, a horrifying secret emerges. As Robyn learns what really happened between Simon and Gordo, she begins to question how well she knows her spouse.

The Gift is a excellent psychological horror film with twist and turns throught it.

Thought there might be more psychological theories in it, but got involved into a conversation about religion and God, whether he exists or not, and I am not a person that enjoys those kind of reads, I suppose. Nice book, but definitely not for me.

I Am Mother does enjoy a deviation from the average film that Netflix puts out. Central to this difference is the inclusion of a real psychological and moral dilemma that it presents.
