Excellent idea, but ran out of ideas.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village is the first of the Professor Layton series of games, and overall it was a good first attempt. The story was good, and the puzzles involved were very well thought out and certainly tricky in places.

But that's all you can really say about it. After a while, the puzzles get very repetitive, using the same puzzles again with slight differences, and with a new or "new" puzzle seeming to come along every few seconds, it can get laborious, and incredibly tedious, to the point you don't care about the story any more.

There are only two voices featured, the Professor and his assistant, Luke. The professor's voice is fine, but Luke's clichéd cockney voice is incredibly irritating to the point I had to play the game with the sound off.

This also goes for the music, a single pleasant piece of music that plays constantly through the entire game. Again, incredibly annoying: sound off.

Good attempt, hopefully improves by the second game!
