Very Basic luck based deduction
Not a very interesting game, you "hide your ships" and then take random shots marked on a axis based grid, and if you hit you hunt around that space until you sink the ship. it's a bit of a race to see who can outlast the other, but the only skill involved is in reading you opponent and guessing where he/she hides their ships. we can do better.

This Middle Grade trilogy comes to an end as modern day teen Greg Rich must figure out a way to save seventeenth century France and find the stone that will take his family home. Fasted paced action made it hard to put down, and I loved every second of the race to the end.

I LOVE this book. I have read it so many times that it has LITERALLY fallen apart. The race is a thrill and watching Wade outsmart the other gunters is fantastic. Even descriptions that could have been boring were crafted with the right amount of detail and experience, allowing readers like me to get the details but those who aren't as game-heavy to get to the meat of the plot.
