I honestly loved everything about this book. I actually saw the show first and was hooked. Rae is so raw and relatable that it's hard not to get attached to her and her struggles through teenaged years. Highly recommend to anyone who has ever felt like they weren't good enough.

I found the way Dresden was drawn distracting here, because he wasn't raw-boned enough, and he was too handsome. There just wasn't enough story, either - and the fact that there's art isn't enough to make up for that. Not sure I'll read any of the other Dresden Files Graphic Novels.

Fatimah Asghar's poetry in If They Come For Us is everything I hoped it would be. It was raw and powerful. Her words paint her world and pull on your emotions. Her verses gave me chills and left me breathless. I particularly fell in love with My Love For Nature.

Brilliant and raw this really but Gibson on the map. It's quite stark and grim but that's the point, and it did spawn an even better sequel + Fury Road which as chase movies go is surely one of the greatest ever!

"Whooo! Where to start? I’ve watched it so many times. Until that movie, which I saw before even my teen years, I hadn’t seen a film that showed such raw passion connected with dance. It was sexy and showed that dance had the ability to translate into so many expressions."

"Senegalese director Djibril Diop Mambéty’s 1973 film about a young man and woman in a modern African city who don’t fit in. So they get out. They get far out. The raw energy and often hyper-experimental nature of the music, visuals, and editing make this a favorite. Beautiful. Fully punk."
