Cori June (3033 KP) rated Coyote Blue in Books
Jul 24, 2020 (Updated Jul 24, 2020)
Witty and chaotic, Coyote Blue is a unique read. Poor Samson Hunts Alone, or as he is known now Sam Hunter. His life is orderly and known. At least until Coyote appears. Where there is Coyote there is chaos. Now Sam has to figure out how to put his life together, get the girl, keep his biggest secret safe.
Filled with Coyote stories and lots of chaos. Also when they talk about medicine it's not magic but it's also not not magic. It is hard to describe.

CHOZEN: PART ONE comes with a trigger warning, and it's DARK, so pay heed to it. This book won't be for everyone for any number of reasons. If you can read it though, be prepared to read an intricate, twisted, multiple-perspective story.
Now, as already stated, this is told from multiple people which, for me, made it a bit confusing as there were simply so many of them! It does give you a well-rounded view so, for that, I'm thankful. I just had difficulty remembering who was who and what their role was.
You have no idea who to trust as you travel with Tucker and find out more about his situation. Can I just say, it sucks? It's a scary situation for him to be in, and I was on tenterhooks when I read his chapters.
Although this is definitely NOT a romance, you do get hints about possible pairings in the future. And if you've read any of The Playroom in the past, it may help with this.
All in all, I... want to say enjoyed it, but that just sounds so wrong! I was gripped, enthralled, intrigued, and will be reading Part Two as I really want to see where this goes and how it all plays out.
I absolutely do recommend this... but just be aware that it ends on a cliffhanger, and is DARK.

At the Drive In made the most responsible call when they put their legacy on hold in 2001. Now older and wiser, they're much better prepared to nurture their blaze than before. All it needed was a little room to breathe.

Heart-racing tale of six young children, who while innocently playing in the woods, witness something they should not see. Now they, and everyone around them is in danger. Fantastic storyline, great characters and one heck of a ride! Quick read as you're sucked in from page one and simply don't want to out it down... Will surely be checking out more books by this author!

When I was on vacation abroad, I finished reading this very interesting, contemporary, women’s fiction novel, set in my home town of Chicago. This book was offered to me by the author’s publicist, and if you want to know what I thought of it, I hope you'll read my #bookreview on my blog now. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2019/10/18/games-sets-and-mismatched/

I fell in love with this series several years ago now with the first book in the series On Dublin Street where we met Joss and Braden and their amazing group of friends. I have read this series out of order, having read book 4, Fall from India Place, before this one but it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, although some storylines arc through all the books.
I was really enjoying this up until the 65-70% mark before it all went to hell. Yeah, they have to have something that tears them apart or it would be a boring book, but at the same time it annoys the heck out of me. Things were going so well.
I had tears silently pouring from my eyes for a good ten minutes as I read their falling out and the obvious pain they were both in but I really wanted to smack Nate in the face a few times.
Never the less, they worked things out in the end--obviously!--and end up another great couple in this amazing series. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
