The Techno-Thriller-Comedy that Nobody knew we needed
We unexpectedly loved maniac. It had a lot to say about fantasy vs. reality. The beautiful modern take (extremely loosely) on Don Quixote had a lot to say to the current era that we find ourselves in. A near future almost hopeless setting shines a lot on how we currently attempt to cope with our reality by escaping into our virtual realities. It's especially difficult on millennials who are trying to overcome the arrested development that we've been placed in. We had too much of a good thing, technology, and haven't quite figured out how to balance virtual with analog reality. 9/10 well worth your time!

Wes craven's: new nightmare takes a different approach in the nightmare of elm street franchise. After freedy's dead bombed, but grossed money and killed Freddy. Wes craven came back with a new take. What if reality and fiction came togther? What if fiction happened in reality? What if Freddy hunts the actors and the director of a nightmare on elm street? What if reality and fiction collided? New nightmare is 2 hours long but its a perfect length of time to tell a story that horror fans should watch. Wes toke elements from real life and put them in the movie. Like heathers stalker, heathers husband and kid, wes craven's nightmares, earthquakes and more. This one to me is the best one in the franchise. I think horror fans should watch this film.

I had my reservations, but at the end, Marvel has done it again! This version perfectly supports the MCU. My favorite parts throughout were simply the reality of a teenage boy trying to do what’s right while still being a typical teen.
