Even though this is a novella I think it was laid out very well and not rushed. Sarah Grace Grzy took the time to give background on the characters that really helped me feel like I had a vested interest in the outcome of the characters. It was a well-researched book in that facts were legitimate regarding the medical scenes and flashbacks that took place. I liked how both characters in this book were realistically flawed and that they acknowledged it and strove to do better. I also appreciated how Sarah Grace Grzy presented the gospel in this book.
I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars for the great story layout, relatable characters, and for the realistic dilemmas that the characters faced. This novella did not read like an author’s first work, but that of a seasoned veteran. I am looking forward to reading more by Sarah Grace Grzy.

Let's be honest, I haven't come across anything by Sarah J. Maas that I wouldn't practically sell my soul to read again. This new book included. The first 10 chapters or so were a bit slow, slow enough that I worried about whether or not I'd enjoy this one - which was a devastating thought. But it quickly picked up speed and pretty much skyrocketed from there. Bryce is such a relatable character and this world, despite its magic and mythical creatures, is comfortable because it's so similar to reality. Her love and loyalty run so deep, she's definitely a friend I would want in my corner. She's a total bad ass, something I always look forward to when reading anything by Sarah. Now I've finished this book, the second will not be released until next year, so I'm left stewing with so many questions and theories! I'm so excited for the next book!

Sarah J Maas knows how to create a badass! Selina is definitely a strong, capable, gritty, independent woman with no need for a man (or Batwing). I thoroughly enjoyed Catwoman through Maas' eyes - I probably should have read the other DC books (and I still might), but I couldn't wait to delve into SJM's mind once again. Reading about the "villain", making her into a relatable person with a sympathetic history, was especially interesting. I have never personally read any hero comics and, though I've watched several Batman movies, I certainly wouldn't call myself a fanatic - but this was a new experience in which I have no regrets! The story had action (lots of girl power, good versus evil, butt-whipping action), it had a hint of romance (which kept my romantic heart aflutter) and definitely had some feels to go along with it. Glad I chose something so different from my normal read!

In a well ordered universe I wouldn't be left with so many questions! I loved this book,it's a story about friendship and finding out who you really are when your not in someone elses shadow. No matter how much you love and admire that person. As someone with social anxiety, I found Emily to be very relatable, and much braver than I if I had been handed this list.This book took me back to being a teenager and some of the summers I had, (none as eventful as this story!) A story of friendship and romance! My only little niggle is I want to know if she mends things with Dawn and Collins and if Gideon finds his perfect girl ( I have a rather large soft spot for him) In truth I wanted Emily to fall in love with him instead because he seemed so sweet, but I can't have everything!

Well......I think I'm in love!
This was an awesome read. Wisdom Check is the second in the Dungeons & Dating series and I'm not disappointed! The depth of emotions displayed by Jules and Cal is brilliant. They are well written characters that are loveable and relatable.
The sexual tension that simmers away beneath the surface is something else, it's hot, cheeky and moreish. It isn't just an itch to be scratched though, it's more, it's deep and meaningful but with unresolved personal issues it's also difficult and riddled with self doubt.
All of that makes me fall in love with them, over and over again! Both men are kind, compassionate, considerate and sexy as hell!
This really is a pleasure to read, it pulled many emotions to the surface and made me desperate to see how it ended but equally I didn't want it to end!!
A thoroughly adult read, with some hot mm sex and some fairly tough subjects.

The People on Platform 5 was a truly fabulous read on The Pigeonhole, and not a book I would have picked up to read if left to myself - which is the joy of The Pigeonhole!
Six very different people take the same train every day, never talking to one another (or anyone else - this is an English train, after all!), and it’s not until one of them chokes on a grape, that the ice is broken.
These people are a great cross-section of people you might meet on a train, all with relatable problems, and the train setting was such a good idea. It showed how although we all try to ignore one another on public transport, people are generally more than happy to listen in to other peoples conversations and lend a hand if necessary!
I really enjoyed immersing myself in the lives of Iona and her fellow travellers every day, and felt bereft when the ten day serialisation was over. A recommended read!
