Great actors (2 more)
Amazing cinematography
Best sfx in marvel since Dr Strange
Swinging success
No spoilers. Just a quick review this time round. I really enjoyed this film, it works well with the tone of MCU post Endgame.
The cinematography is amazing and very well do. Worth paying extra to watch in IMAX. All the actors perform their characters outstanding and Jake Gyllnhall is amazing as Mysterio. Showing again another Interesting marvel character in a newer MCU light.
There are plenty of laughs as there have always been with spidey on the big screen. There is just something about Holland that makes him the perfect Spider-man, cheeky and awkward, noble and cocky. Just enough broodiness to be relatable. Unlike certain other animal theme super heroes (not Ant-Man).
Marvel however like DC do love a good old nod to the past and fans of the Raimi Trilogy will get a kick of the mid credits scene.
All I can say is bring on phase 4, on and marvel/ Disney give us the pairing we all want. Holland and Reynolds

TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated Mishaps Off the Mainland (Merriweather Island #5) in Books

Dogs + Faith = An Inspiring book!
I have read all the books in the Independence Island series so far and have been enchanted by their realistic approaches to life and the way they each uniquely emphasize our need for a Savior. Tabitha Bouldin is a new to me author that I so glad to have found through this series. I LOVED the way she showed faith through her characters, the struggles of any small business, and her commitment to showing the realities of life. Melody and Zeke played so well off each other and were a great combination. Mishaps off the Mainland is one of my favorite stories so far in the Independence Island series and I am so looking forward to reading more books by Tabitha Bouldin (can you say going on a binge read?)
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for the strong faith aspects, the relatable characters, and for leaving me thinking even after I am done with the book.
*I volunteered to read this book in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

I have no idea where to even begin telling you about this sweet story!
V. Joy Palmer put together a wonderful story that brought together two people and gave them a second chance at their dreams, all the while not shying away from mistakes of our pasts and keeping it real, blunt, and honest. One of the few authors I have read who can do it in a non-offensive way, rather V. Joy Palmer did it biblically and with great emphasis on second chances and healing. I enjoyed how Kaylee and Gabe reflected on the past and that they seemed real. They both really grew as the book progressed and I was very happy with the way the story rounded out at the end; Plus, it was nice to see some familiar faces from previous books.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the realistic characters that were easily relatable, the faith filled pages, and for being an honest story.

TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated Trapped in Books

This was my first time reading a book by Lillian Duncan, which I am surprised at since she writes mystery/suspense and that is one of my go to genre’s. I really enjoyed this book though! I would definitely say that it can be read as a standalone book. This book starts and captures your attention almost immediately. The book takes some unexpected turns quite early in the book, it was from a different perspective then I have read before. I loved how throughout the book God was the central focus without being forceful.
I think that at some points it was a bit wordy, however, I kind of liked the wordiness. It fit the situations very well. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars for telling a kidnapping story from a different perspective, the relatable characters, and for how Lillian Duncan was able to intertwine God in every aspect of the book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes edge of you seat reads with strong characters and a mystery/thriller that leaves you thinking even after the book is over.
