Dean (6927 KP) rated the Nintendo GameCube version of Resident Evil Zero in Video Games
Feb 7, 2019 (Updated Feb 20, 2019)
Great graphics (2 more)
New 2 character gameplay
Can be played on the Nintendo Wii
A great prequel to the franchise
Another great Resident Evil game, this time set before the events of the first game. It has a very similar look and feel to the GameCube remake. The graphics again are excellent with great detail light and shadow effects. It has a new feature where an extra character will help you out and you can switch between the two at different stages. The story is good and the bosses were well designed as you would expect. A HD version of this is available on the next gen consoles. Check it out if you missed it!

Ok i am going to say i really enjoyed this western. I thought it had the right amout of action in this western.
A great story from the point of view Tonto (Johnny Depp) on how him and John Reid, the Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer) met.
Now the down fault of this movie is that it was under the Disney Flag. If they held off till they had another studio (FOX) and put it out under that studio flag it would have done better. Just seem to violent for a disney movie and alot of adult hummor. Now if they ever plan to remake it again under Disney i would tie in Thunder Mountain and less blood.

Answer The Phone
With anethor remake coming out this friday, and that i already reviewed the 2006 remake. In going back to the oringal, were it alll started from. So lets take a little trip back to 1974.
Inspired by the urban legend "The babysitter and the man upstairs" and a series of murders that took place in the Westmount section of Montreal, Quebec, Moore wrote the screenplay under the title Stop Me.
The Plot: As winter break begins, a group of sorority sisters, including Jess (Olivia Hussey) and the often inebriated Barb (Margot Kidder), begin to receive anonymous, lascivious phone calls. Initially, Barb eggs the caller on, but stops when he responds threateningly. Soon, Barb's friend Claire (Lynne Griffin) goes missing from the sorority house, and a local adolescent girl is murdered, leading the girls to suspect a serial killer is on the loose. But no one realizes just how near the culprit is.
Margot Kidder remembered shooting the film as being "fun. I really bonded with Andrea Martin, filming in Toronto and Ontario. Olivia Hussey was a bit of an odd one. She was obsessed with the idea of falling in love with Paul McCartney through her psychic. We were a little hard on her for things like that.
Black Christmas eventually gained a cult following and is notable for being one of the earliest slasher films. It went on to inspire other slasher films, the biggest one of all being John Carpenter's Halloween (which was apparently inspired by Clark suggesting what a Black Christmas sequel would be like).
Black Christmas has been included multiple lists in various media outlets as one of the greatest horror films ever made. The film ranked No. 87 on Bravo's The 100 Scariest Movie Moments.
A overall classic slasher horror movie based around a hoilday.

Awix (3310 KP) rated Cold Pursuit (2019) in Movies

Latest Hollywood remake of a film with the gall not to be in English (the horror!) is a better-not-call-it-black comedy thriller about a snowplough driver whose rampage of vengeance gets out of control. Liam Neeson drives a plough, murders a bunch of drug dealers, and doesn't think enough about what he says on the publicity tour; the quality of the film kind of vanishes into the backdrop as a result.
After a horribly choppy opening - is it a serious drama about grieving parents or another thickheaded Neeson revenge melodrama? - the film settles down to feel like a pastiche of the sort of thing the McDonagh brothers make, with genre elements drolly deconstructed with offbeat humour and a knowing provocativeness. It's just not quite quirky, funny, or intelligent enough; Neeson underplays it too much and film doesn't seem to have any real point to make. Some good jokes and it passes the time, but it would have slipped into obscurity fairly quickly if only Liam had kept his mouth shut on the junket.

"Get your ass to Mars."
So, I didn't actually see this film until the remake was in the process of being made. The film is based upon 'We Can Remember it for You Wholesale' by Phillip K. Dick (which is excellent). Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't an award winning actor, but he was completely entertaining (as he is in most films). The weird, early 1990s SFX where a little bizarre, e.g., the face generator. Overall, it's entertaining and well paced, and I may just watch it again this afternoon.
