A very good nitty-gritty action/thriller. It packs a real punch not just for the great action scenes and fights but also for the storyline and good acting. I wasn't convinced at first at casting Liam Neeson in this type of role, but he plays the part of a doting father hell bent on revenge and getting his daughter back very well.

A Bug’s Life, is loosely based on Kurosawa’s masterpiece, Seven Samurai. Watched side by side, the similarities between a Japanese revenge tale and a children’s classic are striking.

Kurosawa’s epic tells the story of starved Japanese villagers who hire seven unemployed Samurais to help them fight against bandits who continuously raid their town. Ya that sounds like the Plot to A Bugs Life.

DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE BOTH MOVIES.

Edge of Payback
Get The Gringo- it reminds of Payback and Edge of Darkness. A revenge film with action, drama, comedy and suspense. Unlike Payback and Edge of Darkness which were decent films. I actually like Get The Gringo.

The plot: A youngster helps an American career criminal (Mel Gibson) learn to survive behind the walls of a brutal Mexican prison.

A good action packed prison survival film.

Unexpectedly good film, as I was expecting a poor gangster movie clone.
This is a very twist and turn revenge thriller with a massively high body count and influenced by both Tarantino and Hitchcock although it is a little predictable in execution.
Hartnett was the new rising star at that moment in time and shows great promise alongside *Sir* Ben Kingley and the always great Morgan Freeman, worthy of anyones time!
