The PG-13 verison of a M game
Ive only played the 3rd one, when it came out so like 2011 or 2012. I never finished the game idk why, i just didnt. I havent played the first one or the second one either. Alot of people hated this film, i can see why. First of all what genre is this film surpost be? A action film, a horror film, a drama film, a revenge film, a gritty film, a thriller? I dont know its a mix a genres. Second the slow mo is good/bad, cause it was in the games it has to be in film right. Third the action is bad, someone was just shaking the camera the whole time.

The plot: After the murders of his family and his partner, maverick cop Max (Mark Wahlberg) becomes hell-bent on revenge. Teamed with beautiful and deadly Russian mobster Mona Sax (Mila Kunis), Max journeys into a dark underworld to find the truth, but forces -- both worldly and supernatural -- align against him, determined to silence Max forever.

Oh lastly PG-13 why?

Might not be reviewing for a while as I'm concentrating my writing efforts on my novel. I'll try to stay as active as possible and if I see a new film I'll review it as soon as I can :) on the 22nd of this month I will be able to post my Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge (a.k.a Dead Men Tell No Tales) review so keep your eyes out for that, but until then I won't be as active as I usually am. Well once the Novel has been completed I shall be requesting volunteers to put their names forward as potential beta readers. These names shall be randomly selected by a name generator so that it is fairly chosen and I will allow them to review the book as long as there are no spoilers :)

They should've stopped after the 1st one
Okay for starters, isn't this called Salazar's Revenge?

Anyway they really need to stop making these films. The first one was fantastic, but they've gradually gone worse since then and this 5th film is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. It's ridiculously over the top even for Jack Sparrow, completely unfunny and mostly nonsense. I really didn't understand what was going on with the over the top CGI either with Salazar and his pirates, it looked awful.


I really hope this is the last one...

In all honesty I'm a very harsh critic and I can't help it, especially when it comes to sequels, prequels, reboots etc. I wish I could enjoy them more! Although I do agree with you on Javier Bardem, he's a great actor.

I agree. Initially, the trailer for this looked great. Early buzz started pouring in about how it was as good as the first movie, a return to form etc. It wasn't. It was god awful, slightly better than the preceding two, but not by much. Aside from a couple of fun, original scenes, this was just lazy. Resorting to a CGI overload of the senses at the end. Yes, they really should have stopped after the first one. P.S. Dead Men Tell No Tales is the US title of the film - it was changed for the UK, for some reason.
