REVIEW OF THE PRINCES OF FLORENCE
If you're a serious strategy player that enjoys a thinking man's games, this is one for you: a solid, interesting European design. If you prefer your games in a slightly lighter vein, read this review carefully first to see if Princes of Florence is actually of interest or not.

Wow wow and wow I’ve just finished this book in one sitting! I loved the twists and turns and dark suspense! it had me all the way through flicking through pages trying to work out what happened!
You need to read wrapped up in a cosy blanket and hot chocolate being snowed in ...I heard such great reviews I couldn’t wait for the snow so went ahead anyways and glad I did!

Wow. All I can say is "wow" after finishing this book. I had heard some of the reviews as being "graphic" however, the book itself wasn't graphic in the description of the events but it was in the topic that was discussed. I felt as though it was a realistic depiction of things that have happened in our culture and it was hard to get through without shedding any tears of my own.

I don't know if my expectations were too high with all the really positive reviews, but this one didn't grab me as much as I'd hoped. The villain is really very, very wicked and the protagonist must be as blind as bats!
I like at least an attemp at historical accuracy in my historical fiction, but there were some odd things going on here IMO. First Floor conservatory? Unlikely - or an Americanism?!
