"An American man walks across Afghanistan by himself, equipped with nothing but a rucksack, a walking stick and an enormous Kurdish dog. Who hasn’t dreamed of setting off into the unknown? Of risking certain danger to explore the other side of the earth, both geographically and metaphorically? Few people have the guts to trek unarmed through hostile, war-torn foreign territory, relying upon the aid of often isolated, tribal communities, but the rewards of seeing a landscape from that personal and vulnerable perspective are manifold. It heartens the soul to believe that we can depend upon one another as human beings, that we can subsist upon such accessible and un-rarified values as family, hospitality and respect. Be prepared to cry, though."

Just Strange Overall
Parasite- i heard excellent things about it, people rating it 9's and 10's. Calling it "one of the best movies of 2019", calling it "one of the best movies all of time". All of the hype, all of the rewards, all of the critcism, was it deserved well yes and no. Here is the thing the movie was okay. Bong Joon-Ho does a excellent depicking the rich and the poor. Other than that, the movie was hard to follow. Im not the biggest fan of foreign language films cause their are hard to follow. But i do like some foreign language films. One of my favorites is "Pans Labyrinith". "Cronos", "Let The Right One In", "The Orphanage", Juila's Eyes", "The Devil's Backbone" and "Thelma". Are all excellent Foreign langauge films. Its just this one i couldnt get into.

The plot: Greed and class discrimination threaten the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park family and the destitute Kim clan.

Should it got all of these awards, well yes and no. Like i said it does a excellent job depicking the rich from the poor, class conflict, social inequality and wealth disparity. Bong Joon-Ho did a excellent job wih the subject matter. Just for me it was kinda of boring, hard to follow and just strange. I dont if i should of gotten all of those rewards, i mean it was well desvered but their were better movies.

I know other loved this film, just me i didnt. Again this is my opinion. I just want people to know that. Watch it if you want to. Just the hype was overhyped for me.

Welcome to Night Vale
I normally can't do podcasts. I'm incapable of just sitting and listening to narration.

I forced myself to listen to Night Vale.

The first episode left me intrigued. By the third, I was in love.

Night Vale fills a hole in my cold, robotic heart that I never knew was there. It's got Lovecraftian overtones, but it's so much more than that. It's a well-written, smart, progressive story that rewards you for listening to it multiple times, and for paying attention to the narrative.

Not much in Night Vale isn't made important later. It's incredible how some innocuous comment from one episode will eventually be so important to the story.

And the writing is DAMNED funny. Joseph Fink and Jeffery Cranor work well together.

I bought FIFA late this season after buying FIFA every season since day one ..I'm disappointed in that the coins I built up in FIFA 18 dosnt follow on into FIFA 19 .defense system gets worse every season can't seem to defend to save my life .transfers are utter rubbish especially if like me your starting mid season other players are just out to make coins & asking stupid prices for consumables it's going to take something special for me to change my love hate relationship with FIFA I like to play sports on Xbox. seasons are short as it is so when FIFA 20 arrives in September garented EA sports will forget FIFA 19

This game is still relatively new, possibly in its beta testing still but it's really enjoyable and there is very little I can think of that's bad. The graphics and animations are great, there are many little quests to complete, including daily objectives, and you can find yourself lost in it for a long time. The rewards for completing each battle, each quest, are worth the time spent, which with then get plowed back in to the characters you are trying to build up.
However, the load screen does seem to take more than a minute or so to load, and the mini transactions within the game are a little steep. Other than that it's really enjoyable. I live watching all the different animations as each character attacks one another. So far, farmer Hector dropping a pumpkin on the enemy's head is my favourite!

Gaia Project
Gaia Project
2017 | Civilization, Economic, Science Fiction, Territory Building
Gaia Project is one of the pillars of the Euro-style games. It's an iteration/retheming of Terra Mystica, changing from fantasy to sci-fi. Every player takes a faction that follows the basic rules, but each have different preferred planets, starting bonuses, and abilities. GP follows the standard tropes of Euros in there is no take-that player interaction. You can block people off, use a once-per-round action before them. But you won't be able to directly attack them of course.

Every game is different. The Round staring bonus, round scoring bonus, layout of technologies to research, and even the map differ from game to game, an improvement upon Terra mystica.

This is a game that rewards multiple playthroughs, by understanding your factions strengths, you can focus on a multitude of ways to score, ensuring that Evey path to victory is a little bit different.

Love this habit forming app!
You can set yourself challenges and either work alone or with a buddy/group to create new daily habits and achieve daily goals! You also get a character and can dress him using coins you earn. Alongside a character you can also find and hatch pets with magic potions, and feed them, too. All these items are dropped randomly,as rewards for achieving daily goals.

It’s a fun way to meet new people, and better your life by practising daily habits and conpleting challenges in order to accomplish life changing goals! I love it! I’m SassyBrit over there. Look me up! ?

Slow starter but soon pulls you in
This book starts a little slowly but very soon rewards those who stick with it and becomes one of the most engaging books I have read in a long time. Vaguely reminiscent of Agatha Raisin, in that the heroine is a dumpy middle-aged, neurotic woman who lives in deeply rural England with a cat. Yet this is by no means a rip-off.

Somewhat less manic than A.R., both series carry on an old and well-established style of British Mystery writing. That said, it is clear that Lesley Cookman has gone out of her way to break some of the rules. For example there is only -shock, horror!- *one* murder in her book;her characters have no access to the Police enquiry, so are working completly in the dark; and as much as she can she has avoided having characters do obviously stupid things.

This is not an earth-shattering book, but it is a thoroughly good read.

Can not get enough
Played this first after falling in love with Skyrim, and the beauty of an open world RPG.
The wit and references in this game make it a great play for anyone a little nerdy.
This game rewards the explorer! The one hunting in every corner of the map, finding all the hidden gems Bethesda has to offer.
The idea of an alternate reality where the world has fallen to nuclear animation is both interesting and terrifying. It is well though out, exciting and heavy on the details. I love How you have to search through locations, such as the vaults, to hunt for clues on what has happened.
There are so many quests, location and unique items, it will take a long time to play though.
I am now on my second go around, forgot how hard a full bobble head collection is to acquire, but I will do it again!
