Funny cameo by Ed Sheeran
As a big fan of the Beatles I was looking forward to watching this movie. Unfortunately after watching it I was left feeling disappointed. The first half was very good with a lot of funny moments such as Jack finding out what else has changed in the world and the cameo from Ed Sheeran. However what started out as a promising film quickly becomes a predictable rom-com. The best part of this film was the music which includes a lot of the Beatles greatest hits as Jack tries to recreate them himself. Overall I thought this was a fairly standard rom-com that was made better by having a lot of great music.

More drama than Rom-com, it's based around one small idea. If you have spent your whole life in just one relationship, how can you be sure they are right for you? Interesting question but the film as a whole feels uneven. It lacks chemistry and isn't particularly eventful. Feels more like a social comment on relationships in general.

Sandra Bullock looks lovely as always but this film was very slow and dull. I just kept waiting for something to happen. Thought it might be a rom-com to start with but it was definitely a drama. Just so slow and predictable and nothing really happens. If you want a romantic drama watch the Notebook which also stars Gena Rowlands.

I’ve been watching a fair amount of movies coming from New Zealand lately and I have to say that I’m finding them great viewing and Baby Done is no exception, this Baby-Rom-Com is a film that had me laughing out loud at the journey that Zoe (Matafeo) takes for the nine months after finding out she is pregnant.

A fresh take on the Rom-com with plenty of drama, featuring an all star cast. It's on the same kinda level as Love actually. It features the love lives of various people that are all connected some how. Starting with those on the dating scene trying to read the signs right through to those that have been married for a few years. It's enjoyable and quite funny with a few touching moments too., I like the way all the stories are interwoven together. One of the best Rom-coms in a long while.

Hits the right notes
I found this surprisingly funny and enjoyed the sound track for the film. I'm not a big fan of Musicals and a lot of singing in films, but this still felt more like a Rom/com. You can tell the cast had a blast making this film. Give it a whirl.
