Great cast (0 more)
So the Sci-Fi element might be a big issue for some. Overall it's an interesting twist on a romantic drama film. If you liked the @The Lake House (2006) you should enjoy this as well.

Grant at his bumbling, fumbling best.
High-spirited romantic comedy of intoxicating fun.
Funny, intelligent and entertaining.
And McDowell is a little irritating! (0 more)
British comedy that's classy and commercial -- and, most important, very, very funny.

This was a very romantic story and it really made me feel good when it was over, which rarely happens with stories. I could really imagine the velvet room when I was thinking about Robin sitting there reading with the curtains drawn.

"In my formative years I was completely taken by this combination of low life, stage pantomime and romantic twizzle. Jean-Louis Barrault, Etienne Decroux, Arletty and Pierre Brasseur on the boulevard of crime. Now, in my dotage, I like it more than ever."

"In black and white, made in 1940 by Sir Carol Reed, who of course also did The Third Man, Odd Man Out, Oliver!, etc. Night Train to Munich is a witty and quite gripping thriller. Intricate and romantic with very amusing performances."
