Movie Favorite

"I’m going to put Hitchcock’s Notorious on there — the Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant film — because I think that was one of the first films that I saw as a child where I felt like, “Ok, that’s my favorite movie.” I thought it was the most romantic movie I had ever seen. It’s impeccably written, impeccably constructed, and her performance in it, I think, is really peerless actually. She’s so simple and detailed. It’s a kind of perfect spy movie. I really love that genre and I think she’s incredible in it. I actually think she’s a really under-rated actress."

Cliche but glorious
I didn't quite expect this story, I like how the clever the blurb is now I know the story. The characters and story are believable. Occasionally I found Lydia a bit frustrating and she sees everything with rose tinted sunglasses but her character progression is good. Very very cliche but I loved that. I think the relationship between her and Freddie could have been drawn out in fewer pages and I did find myself not wanting to pick it up through the middle.

What the...?

You make me happy--I pretty much danced--at the half way point and then by the end I want to strangle Kou! What are you doing to me!?

As you can see I'm getting emotionally involved in this story.

Kou, you really are an arse! Why can't you be nice to Futaba for once! It's obvious she likes you, you dimwit!

At the rate this is going I'll be ready to do murder... And cheer Futaba on if she ever bothers to see the other guy as a romantic interest.

Ugh! Off to start #7
