I was really getting into this... though I can't for the life of me get Integrity's feelings against going for something romantic with a certain fae? It's pretty obvious he wants to at least sleep with you if not more!
And considering the romance aspect of this isn't even the main part of the storyline, I have to admit that i was pretty intrigued by the rest of it too. I have a very big urge to go and buy book 2 so i can see what Integrity is planning with her gang and to see if anything is going to happen between her and her love interest.

I cried so much while reading this; sometimes the silent ones, sometimes the snotty nose, blotchy faced unpretty ones. It hit me pretty hard but I loved it so much.
The story starts with a bang, one that I wasn't expecting and one that had pretty severe consequences for Ella. It's got such a serious plotline but it was pretty romantic too. I loved our main characters, mainly Cinder because he was determined to stick with Ella but Ella had a lot more to deal with and wasn't sure how to do it.
This is my second book by the author and I look forward to reading more of her work.

I enjoyed this. It is exactly as described: a mystery/romantic comedy.
She may not have been the P.I. in the world in this, but it gave me plenty of laughs when she fell out of the tree and got chased by a man being investigated for fraud.
I also liked the romance aspect of it. Nick was not going to give up in his pursuit of Addison and Addison really should have just ripped his clothes off all those times she wanted to. Pity they never actually got round to doing the deed; interruptions were a plenty.
Definitely going to read the rest of the series!

3.5 stars.
I'm not normally a fan of romantic comedies as such and this one didn't make me laugh, I thought it was a bit ridiculous in places but putting that aside I did like the romance part. Though admittedly, I didn't quite get that part to start with either.
Ben just seemed really determined for her to fall for him and they'd literally only met that night at the club. I had to keep reading just to find out why Ben had fallen for her so easily. And the reason surprised me a little but why not?
I may read more of Jo Watson's books.

What happened Stephen King?
Contains spoilers, click to show
When you think of Stephen King you think of Horror, Pennywise, Salems Lot, Creepshow etc etc.
Not when you watch this. The plot just seems so out of touch for Stephen King. Not his 'norm' at all. Maybe a good thing?
The plot? ODD.
At first I thought I was watching a young, pregnant couple. No, brother and sister. They seem too "involved" to be anything but romantic partners.
Then theres the strange, out of the blue characters (that do not blend in with the storyline), you meet along the way.
You will scream at the ending, all that for nothing.

It's definitely something new... not like anything else (2 more)
I actually quite enjoy the storyline, even though it is like a dirty version of twilight.
The raunch is quite entertaining 😂
The books are only known for their raunchy side which is a shame. (1 more)
The writing isn't too cracking.
I'm just romantic
Now I know the storyline isn't the best, neither is the writing but I still enjoy these books.
Also, since the books came out, people who are THAT way inclined, don't have to feel it's wrong, unusual or taboo. Between two consenting adults, there isn't anything wrong with it. (Although it is too much for my taste!)
