Great looking 3D graphics the first ever 3D graphics on a Pokemon game of the traditional RPG genre (1 more)
Very interesting ambitious story that definitely goes to a different direction
The game is rather Limited in how many Pokemon you can catch which would definitely be a big turn-off for any big Pokemon fans (1 more)
The game has a somewhat straightforward game progression and you pretty much have to fast travel everywhere which takes away a lot of the exploration aspects that the franchise is so known for
Probably the most ambitious Pokemon game ever

This game is truly unique within the Pokemon franchise

It was the first ever Pokemon game put out on the a non handheld console

That was considered a turn based RPG yes you had games like Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon snap but those
Where attempts at Different genres

But rather than follow the time-tested formula that people love so much they decided to go in a very experimental path featuring story revolving around a Pokemon

Thief That would steal other people's Pokemon

Game had a very solid storyline but it definitely suffers

Constraining level designs the small amount of Pokemon available and the lack of the overall charm of the franchise

I was able to purchase this app after winning the Google Play App giveaway here on Smashbomb.
My brother saw this game on his Nintendo Switch a couple of months ago, and since he sent me the name, I'd wanted to download it. Luckily, with the giveaway win, I was able to.
Cat Quest is a fun, cute RPG, where you play as a cat that goes on quests, defeats monsters, and learns magic. It's easy to play, and to level up to get some serious questing done. Overall, I love this game, and will continue playing it every day.

Absolutely stunning (0 more)
This is one of the best games all around that I have played in a long time. The story is amazing and really pulls you in. I felt like I was constantly on the edge of my seat trying to figure out the mystery of the game. The graphics were gorgeously done, and there are so many little "extras" thrown in around the world that I'm still playing it, trying to find them all. I recommend this game to all of my rpg loving friends and I would love to see a sequel or even a prequel!

My vote for GOTY
A kind of alt history world where prehistoric meets futuristic. Take down, control, and run for your life against robotic AI controlled animals and evil bandits in this open world rpg. Great gameplay, gadgets, story, graphics, and just down right enjoyable to play. It's in a league of it's own as far as story. Unlock the mystery behind who you are and why the world needs you, along the way you will.meet characters that will make.you miss them when it's over, enemies who will make you think to beat them and hunting like.never before.

Fantastic D&D lite game
I was very sceptical of this game as it's clearly a reinterpretation of the world's most famous role playing game. However it is a fine reimagining of said game into the structure of a boxed table top rpg. The minis and maps are great, there are plenty of characters to choose from and the missions have a great amount of diversity. There's even leveling of characters to bring them more skills. Overall its very enjoyable and complex even if its themes are quite familiar.

Gripping LetRPG
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Having already devoured a Luke Chmilenko collaboration, I was greatly anticipating Savage Dominion by Luke Chmilenko and G.D. Penman. This book did not disappoint!!

From the very beginning, this book reads like the best RPG you have ever played. Three unlikely characters become travelling companions, and then almost friends as they take on challenges and quests together. We see them levelling up and learning new skills and abilities as they proceed on their journey.

Already looking forward to Savage Dominion: Wyrmshard!!

This is a great game to get for hours of fun. This is an RPG adventure game set in the imaginary world of sanctuary. You choose a class to develop your character. Alongside many in NPC characters, you battle your way to the Demons of hell to reach the ultimate evil Diablo. This is a perfect game to play multiplayer. I first got into Diablo from watching my dad play. Now my brothers and I play once a week together (we all live in different states). This is a great game to spend time with loved ones.

Very much fun and retro at the same time!
I remember watching my son play Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD for Gamecube back when he was young and this game feels a lot like that.

The story mode is entertaining so far, the map pretty expansive and the characters you meet are entertaining. Let's face it though, it's all about the battles!

It is fun with the old style of turn-based RPG as you are used to with other Pokemon games.

I am probably not very far yet, but it takes a lot to keep my attention and this one has so far!

Truly emotional journey
I cried during this game, a truly emotional story with simple graphics. The story of a world where people can grant anyone dreams by altering their memories, one old man’a dream is to go to the moon. As you investigate his past and see his memories, the truly emotional story has you gripped the entire time, having you fall in love with these simple, RPG designed characters.
I genuinely cried near the end up this. Got a beautiful story, amazing soundtrack and fantastic characters I would truly recommend this as a story. Easily an enjoyable 5 hours.

Interesting, Clever and very playable
I came across this game quite by accident while searching for new release games. I am glad I did because it is a really good game. Fantasy, Adventure and RPG all rolled in to one game. This in itself makes for good gameplay and character development but the added bonus is that this game was made with the emphasis on replayability. You could go through it several times making different decisions that influence the way the game goes. Its definitely worth playing and i would give it an 8 out of 10 :)
