This album is a beautiful sadness. The whole feel of this album is so chill but so devastating at the same time. The guitar is beautiful in this, but boy does it make me feel a bit sad.

This isn't normally a genre that I read but it was Aprils book group choice so I gave it a go (sad stories make me sad!) The friendship that formed between Lizzie and The Buckminster boy was one of faith and finding out about a different way of life. It's hard to think that there was a time when people really choose to treat other people in this way but it was nice to see that a young boy could overlook what society told him he should see.

Ok, this book took me a little bit longer to read because I had to read it slower so I didn't miss anything. There was so much in this book.. and the ending.. omg the ending threw me for a loop. I didn't see that coming at all. It was an amazing book, the characters, the plot all of it. I thought it was going to end a different way then it did.. I almost cried at one part. It was so sad and yet not sad at the same time. I loved it!

This book was sad, and hilarious both at the same time - much like Shane's videos. It didn't much help that I read this book in my head using his voice...............
The only fault in this book was that I wish there were better year stamps on the chapters, a timeline in which the chapters were placed or some type of order - it bounced around a lot and I was like, what, we're back to that time......confusing at times - but no less great - I mean sad and depressing.

Never read a memoir type book before, but now I think I will get more. This book was both sad and hilarious at the same time. There was a few lines in there and moments where I laughed out loud and had to re-read because I thought it was hilarious. Now, that being said, most of the book was quite sad (to the person reading it) I mean I don't think she found her life to be upsetting until she got old enough to know better, but man, that was an awesome read.

Not like the musical
I love the reality of this story. Even when it is sad, it feels real. You care about Elphaba, and you see her as more than a wicked witch.

A weird story. It implies that this story is true and that it is about the author. It is very sad and a bit confusing. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.
