This is the ultimate in what potentially serves as the final notes to the best parts of the mythology with one of the best characters. (Minus both vastly different origin story reboot attempts)

Raw, sad and great conclusion

Brilliantly sad
Wow, what a movie. Very disturbing but very moving and showing just how the Jews suffered at the hands of Nazi Germany. Polanski's storytelling is sublime as always and the film though a tough watch sometimes is one that will live you for a long time

I loved the movie, but the book was even better. More details, they also explain things better in the book. ☺

This book is amazing. It's a powerful allegory about childhood and mourning its loss, but a loss that we ultimately all survive. Beautifully written, vivid, at times sinister, profoundly sad but incredibly touching. This is a book that will stay with you for a long time after the last page is turned.

"Such a fantastic series, I am sad at the thought of it ending, but am so thrilled I have read it all."

"Alec Guinness’s stunning versatility, playing a whole cast’s worth of characters, combined with his comic genius makes this a movie that should be enshrined. Funny how Guinness gets credit in many people’s faulty memories for Dennis Price’s high style performance. Can there be people who’ve never seen this treasure? Even once? How sad."

"I have yet to see the Broadway production, but it warms my heart to know this brilliant documentary from Albert and David Maysles has inspired such a thing. An example of how a personal relationship between the filmmaker(s) and subject can in fact benefit the film itself. Fascinating, funny, and sad."

"My favorite film of the past decade. A funny-sad tapestry of slummy British life and a portrait of a striver poking her way up through the concrete. Best dance sequences and best sound design and best use of Nas. See Michael Fassbender begin his reign as resident psychosexual nightmare heartthrob here."

Good. Although a bit stereotypical
I watched this series is 3 sittings. I have a non verbal autistic nephew and I definitely saw many traits in the young protagonist, but not enough. I did enjoy it though. Funny, sad, witty, sharp.

I've been really interested in watching this, but was but off a little when I heard it had upset those on the spectrum. I think I might give it a shot though.

All the feels!
This book was so emotional! It was funny, clever, concerning, and so very sad. The main characters interacted splendidly and it was interesting to see how they each chose how to handle their similar problems. I read this in one night and was a sobbing mess at the end.

Very nicely written and believable story. A story I have remembered since I first read it in Middle School. I still use it in my Middle School classroom today. Haven't met a student that hasn't enjoyed reading it! You will cry!

I would use thiswhen I was allowed to pick the books I taught. Loved it and it was good for both boys and girls.
