Sci-fi horror film that can best be described by 3 words: 'Evil teenage Superman'.

Another 3?

Not that great.

Exact same setup and setting as the Superman story, in that a childless Kansas couple adopt a baby who falls to earth inside a spaceship. Said baby then grows up and develops super powers: flight, laser eyes, invulnerability etc etc...

"The people of this sci-fi novel live underground in darkness. They retain ‘light’ in their language, but only in allusions to a lost paradise. They worship Light (‘For Light’s sake!’), and their theology includes demonic figures that engineered the fall from Light’s grace. The demons are called Strontium, Cobalt, and the arch-devil, ‘Hydrogen Himself.’ Go figure, as you Americans say."

Weak
To call this a B movie would be an insult to "B" movies. The acting was weak and the story was dull. The creatures/effects and film work weren't too bad but it wasn't enough to make this sci-fi horror movie a good one. The typical leave-it-open-for-a- sequel ending was pretty anticlimactic. Overall, NOT worth a watch.
