This book made me chuckle aloud. It had heart warming, sometimes eye rolling moments and love.

As Elise's brothers best friend, and team mate, Elise is very much off limits to Justin, but their mutual attraction and long harboured crushes might just be worth the risk. A drunken night leads to a secret relationship with the potential to change everything.

This light hearted, steamy read is an instant page turner. The characters are likeable, the dialogue is far from cheesy and the hot moments are HOT!

As a sports romance lover, I would recommend to anyone with similar reading tastes.

"One of the first ones on my list would have to be Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, just because I really look up to Alfred Hitchcock and what he did as a director. What’s so funny is that I never really knew the big reveal. After all these years, I’d never known the reveal. So when I saw it, I was genuinely shocked and freaked out by what I just saw. So it was really fun to be able to not have that kind of secret be revealed to me before and let me be surprised. It was a really great film and I really enjoyed it."

"One of the very few westerns, my favorite classical genre, in the Criterion Collection. How to make an almost huis clos in the immensity of Monument Valley? Only Ford had that secret. The apparition of the great John Wayne in the Ford family, as the Ringo Kid, in a beautiful tracking shot, made him a star. Later, Wayne said about Ford: “This made me a star, and I’ll be grateful to him forever. But I don’t think he ever really had any kind of respect for me as an actor until I made Red River for Howard Hawks, ten years later. Even then, I was never quite sure.”"

Always remember to pack a Virgin and a Rosary.

Awful things happen against beautiful backdrops and this is no different.
I really like Emory, the horror film buff. He has a close, cheeky relationship with his twin sister, but for all the cheek he'd do anything for her. I enjoyed watching his character develop, his confidence grow and slowly realise how others see him.
The relationship/dynamics between Emory and Conner are interesting.....friends/holiday neighbours.....Emory's secret crush...

This isn't for the faint-hearted, there is blood and danger and it's put me off abandoned buildings again! It's creepy and has a darkness throughout, I love it.
