This story will pull you in from the first page, keeping you hooked till the very last page. This story has laughs, secrets and heart break. This story is told from both characters view points, so you get both sides of the story. You will fall in love with the characters from the first page. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Set me on fire
I listened to this on audiobook for a solid week. It starts with a fire in Shaker Heights, a perfectly planned town, and then you see how we all got there. The narrative jumps all over the place, taking deep dives into the past and different character’s emotional states. Slowly forming a clear story from a life of secrets meant to be hidden. The characters struggle with big problems, and discover themselves along the way.

Another book that I devoured while down on my knees. My sister Joy loaned me this book to read while on bed rest. A sad story of sisters and parents that weren't all there. Though Francec was not the upmost behaved child, her heart concerning her niece/sister Lilly was there, even with the dark family secrets, that no little girl should possess. A great read, if you want drama in your life, that isn't your own...

Best book ever
Three people in 3 separate parts of the world all trying to create the exact same perfume. Dropping into a backstory of man and woman finding each other and learning the secrets from a long gone tribe of Monks of everlasting life. In comes Pan and his stink and the reason to create such a perfume.

It's by far one of my all time favorite books and read it at least once a year.

So I thought this was going to be more of a locked room sort of thriller, people trapped on an island, lots of secrets and murder but the way it was written was just a tad flat for me, but a fairly solid thriller.

I guessed most of the "big" reveals and the various POVs had that frustrating hiding what they know while narrating things going on. I mean it was OK but just that really.
