Hugo weavings acting seemed forced. (0 more)
I've been wanting to see this for ages, as I had the book as a teenager and loved the prospect of it.
All in all I thought it was a very good film, good acting from the two young leads. And the film does follow the book to a T.
I'm probably glad I didn't see it at cinema however as I don't think I would have paid they're prices and been happy with it. But a good film to watch in the comfort of your own house. My only issue was that to me Hugo Weavings acting felt quite forced, it didn't feel right to me and they could perhaps have cast someone different in his role.
I will be watching it again though. And am a bit upset there isn't a sequel lined up.

Curse of the Sequel Strikes Again!!
So the 1st Lego Movie was a big and very enjoyable surprise to me. I went into it not knowing what to expect and came out with a big grin on my face. So going into the 2nd Lego movie I had high expectations that it just didn't live up to.

There was still some spark but it lacked the same level of fast gagtastic pace. A lot of the gags felt a bit flat and the increase in real-world action didn't enhance the film. I know it's a Lego movie but the story just was all over the place and didn't tie anything together. For what seemed to be a simple story of sibling rivalry there was a lot of new characters; in particular Rex; that I didn't feel hit the right spot.

I was left underwhelmed.

Too much under water screaming
Contains spoilers, click to show
My god.
This film was frustrating and confusing. So much screaming and really unlegit conversations. Then the end went crazy with multiple escapes from the jaws of a shark...
The oxygen levels only were relevant at certain plot points and so were a pointless tension tool they never used.
The random strong current and the way the sharks just popped up out of no where when there was no way they could have got into those areas was eye rolling.
There was also no other fish at all which is strange since where the hell are the sharks getting there food.
This was trying to be a weird slasher movie, replaced with a shark.. trying to be too serious and then throwing out the most ridiculous ending...
I was so surprised to find out this was a sequel XD

Who ya gonna reboot?
Ghostbusters afterlife was announced with original director Jason reitman returning sending fans into a frenzy after the lackluster 2016 "reboot" ghostbusters: answer the call left viewers with a bad taste in their mouth and an empty ghost trap.

It's been 32 years since the apocalyptic events of the first movie and the original ghostbusters are all but completely forgotten.
After the death of egon, his estranged daughter and her children move into his home and try to settle in before pieces of the past start to uncover and an old threat is unleashed... So someone makes a call.

Fantastic visual effects, original soundtrack, a huge dose of nostalgia and a beautiful emotional scene that packs a punch that really kick things into gear.
This is a truly worthy sequel not to be missed and features cameos from the original cast.
