I enjoyed the story and I believe, when I get the chance, I will continue with this series. However, it felt subpar compared to Trisha's With Visions of Red series.

A fun time but one of the most convoluted plots of the series. I think it's a great swan song for the series and one that I would watch again.

Brilliant "before he was a psycho" alternative view of the Norman Bates story. This series sees the family move to a town with something of a corrupt underbelly. The series doesn't look to explore Norman's "tendencies" as much as I might have expected, but the rest of the peripheral action makes it an excellent standalone series without Norman in it!
We start to see something of the psycho emerge towards the end of the series.

Lots of twists

Better than the first series

Well I enjoyed this more than the first series. Each episode was good and had plenty of twists and revelations. The first series felt more up and down between episodes. This time the pacing and plot were much better, with each episode being consistent. The ending was a little weak compared to the rest of the series, but it was still a very good drama.

Great Slasher series

Another good Slasher series with a different story and cast from the first. Definitely one Slasher fans will love. It's dark, violent and very gory for a TV series. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plot with a good whodunit element as well. With so few decent films of the genre around lately it's great to find an 8 part series that does it so well.
