I'm gonna start right off the bat and say I felt that this could of been one whole book instead of a series. They were all just short parts of one whole novel. But anyone, I enjoyed this book series very much. It was the right amount of erotica scenes with a real love story story line, that held up nicely. I liked the main characters Sebastian and Aria, and I liked their tragic backgrounds as well. I blew through this series in two days and I would recommend it to anyone who likes not too steamy but isn't shy about sex erotica novels.

I love anthologies. They let you sample different genres or writting styles. This anthology ia all about the urban fantasy with the hottest authors. From the three authors I've read the series of they are one shots
Faith Hunter's Signatures of the Dead comes before the series starts. It gives fairly good background info as well as, clarify some referances made in the books. Patricia Briggs's "Seeing Eye" also hapends to characters that are in a book of the Alpha & Omega series but doesn't hold spoilers just gives the universe it ia set in more depth. Jim Butcher... Well nothing goes easy for Dreaden not even getting a beer.

The Gypsy Rose and DeeDee Munchhausen by proxy documentaries are numerous, and I found it very interesting that Hulu produced a dramatization of the story. The series started really strong, I devoured the first three episodes one right after another, but then, the waiting game.
This series was probably 3 episodes too long, episodes 6 and 7 felt like straight up filler, and should have been combined. Patricia Arquette was amazing as DeeDee, the thin veneer of kindness over her abusive behavior was really brilliant.

Of course, if you've ever watched a documentary about this, you know how it ends, but it's still an entertaining series (excluding eps 6 and 7).

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is the first book I've read by this author and I can't wait for more. This is a sweet, second chance romance story. This book will have you laughing out loud one moment then crying the next. This story takes you on an emotional roller coaster of a ride. The characters had such an amazing chemistry between them , they just drew you into the story. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

Highly recommended start to the series

I loved it. I chose to read this book because it's by my favorite author and second book in the Teardrop series. This series is very emotional and about the rise of Atlantis. It had an unspected ending as well.

Two things I loved about the series was the love story and how the story deals with the main characters emotions. For example, how it shows you shouldn't bottle your emotions up inside. My favorite character's in it would probably be her younger twin brother William and sister Claire. I also liked Brooks as well.

I 100% recommend

I freaking loved this book! This series was so amazing, and so was the ending. All of the twists and turns were very well laid out. The calmer parts of the story were well integrated into all of the action that was happening. If you have not picked up the Vampire Academy Series or haven't started the Bloodlines Series, do it now. You definitely won't be disappointed! Thank you so much, Richelle Mead, for these amazing stories! I can't wait to see what you are going to put out next! For second book in the series this one was pretty darn good. I really like the evolution of the characters and the situations that they were put through. The darkness of the story completely surpassed that of the first. I like all the literary illusions that are found throughout the novel in series. Megan Shepherd did a great job crafting the story in a way that made it believable on the page. I like the little details that she has throughout the story that make it so much more realistic in the world it is setting. If you like horror novels you should definitely start reading this series

I would really only give this novel 3 1/2 stars.

I really wasn't all that impressed with this novel. I felt that there was very little imagery in the novel. The descriptions were very poorly done in my opinion. I will say that I found the plot line very interesting and found myself wanting to learn more about the characters, even though I found them to be depthless.

I think this was a good start to a series. I am not sure if I will continue on in the series. I guess if I'm looking for a quick read I might pick up the next in the series.
