This was a good novella that helps keep you excited for the next in the series. It's interesting to see Rebecca's thoughts and her journey into BDSM.

This book was pretty creepy. I loved the historical facts sprinkled in with myth and really liked Cassidy. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I enjoyed this series. I think it should be read as one long book instead of 3 separate books. Reading them as one shows character development better.

Such an amazing series! And I love how it connects with, and in a way explains some of the things found in The Mortal Instruments.

Good start to a new historical mystery series. Recommended by Sharon Kay Penman too! Set in the English/Scottish marches in the dying years of Elizabeth's reign.
