I've slipped into the middle of a series......I need to read the others!!

To say we are reading a murder mystery, Dead as a Duck is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the closeness of the main characters, the different personalities bouncing off each other.
Kit is a bit if a firecracker and very determined in the things that she does.....especially when suspicion is cast close to home.

As I said this is part of a series, however, it could easily be read as a standalone.....don't do it!! Go for the whole series and treat yourself to a cheeky bottle of wine.

First half is pretty slow
Return of the Fett
Well this continues on from the Mandalorian series 2, there is a teaser at the end of the last episode of that. So make sure you watch the 2 series of that or a lot won't make much sense.
Good to see a back story of how he escaped the Sarlacc pit in Return of the Jedi and up to appearing in The Mandalorian. It does continue the story of The Mandalorian quite a bit rather than being totally separate.
So if you liked that then this is pretty similar of not the best plot story.

"So say we all!"
2003 Minis-series that acts as a backdoor pilot into the series proper of the reimagined BSG, one of the highlights of the last 20 years sci-fi TV.

This helps set up the scene of said series: just why are the fleet looking for Earth whist being pursued by the Cylons: here, reimagined from the late 70s/earl 80s clanking Robots (although those models still exist) into near-perfect simulation of humankind who are able to infiltrate the 12 colonies before launching a genocidal attack.

And thus set up the central dilemma of the show: if anyone can be a Cylon (and maybe not even know it!), just who can you trust?

The second book in this epic series continues at the same pace and quality of the first. It doesn't just rival the first book, it beats it in every way

So much better than the Phantom Menace. It has some great battle scenes, amazing creatures and more characters. Still far from the better entries in the series but enjoyable nevertheless.
