I really really like this series and love where it’s going. This volume had a lot of backstory so of course it was a little slower, but obviously necessary. Looking forward to volume 3.

The cast was superb, the acting superb, the story was intriguing and the twist was completely unforeseeable (to me anyway!) Cannot wait for series 2 but it has a lot to live up to!

I loved these books as a kid, and having read them again recently I still love them! Brilliant book I'm so glad I read the books series before watching the movies.

The story of Assail and Sola. Slightly offset from the main Black Dagger Brotherhood series but still just as good!! Yet to read a BDB book that I didn't enjoy

This series was so boring I could barely keep awake watching it. Such a disappointment since I like the main character. I just felt like nothing happened and the story was so dragged out.
