fantastic second book

This is the second book in this series by these authors. Wow, what a second book, these authors have done it again with this book. This book starts right after book one "Without consequence" finishes. Same well written fantastic characters from the first book. This book will suck you into the pages of the story. This story is all about revenge. I can't wait to read more from this authors in the future.

The third book in Antony Riches <i>Empire</i> series of novels which, while better than the last, if I'm honest I still found to be pretty slow going, plodding and just not really all that exciting.

As before, I could never really connect with any of the characters or with the events described and, as such, just found this to be at times a bit of a tedious read.

3 books in and I've yet to really enjoy the series: maybe it's just not for me!

The second book in Donald Jack's Bandy papers series, this is the novel that convinced me to read more of his works.

Set during the last year of the First World War (1914 - 1918), I have to say I found this book to be funnier than both the later installments in the series, and than the previous entry ("Three Cheers For Me"): indeed, this book was the cause of me getting some funny looks when I burst out laughing in work one lunch-time ...

The ending cut off!

This series has the power to be a superb series but the sex scenes bring it down so much! As I have said with the others I am super hooked on what is going to happen, I have resulted to skipping past the sex scenes as they are so cringey and un-realisitic that it completely ruins the story and was making me nearly dislike the characters! Such a shame
