This is the sixth book in this series by this author. This book can be read as a stand alone read but other characters from the pervious books are in this one. This book has strong characters, you just fall in love with as you read. This book has an amazing story line, I just couldn't put this book down till I'd finished it. I can't wait for more in this series and by this author in the future.

I just couldn't put this book down till id finished it. I was hooked from the first page till the last one. This is the first book ive read in this series but the third book in the series. What a fantastic story with amazing characters. The writing is exceptional with lots of very hot and steamy scenes. This is a dark read but very romantic by the end.

this is a good cowboy romance story. The male character is just so sweet, you will definitely melt as you read. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of the series. This is the perfect book for the winter months, with sexy cowboys to keep you reading long into the night and beyond. I cant wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

To an almost nine year old who had trouble reading oh so long ago, with the help of my mother, I became so engrossed in reading these books aloud, that I now have everything ever written about Pern. (0 more)
Learned to read with these books
Learning about Pern from Lessa’s point of view was enchanting from a nine year old’s perspective. Over thirty years later, I reread this series over and over again. Both my mother and grandmother had read the series before me and now I’m reading it to my nine year old niece.

In all honesty this is the first book by J.A. Armstrong I picked up. It drew me in as a teacher but when I realized it was a spin off of the By Design series I put it aside and started that one. I read this one at the time it seemed to fit into the other series. I love the characters and how their relationship develops. Michelle and Melanie's relationship evolving from just friends to more just flowed. As with all of Armstrong's characters they all have flaws but that makes them real.

In the (unfortunately) final book of the Alcatraz Smedry series, Alcatraz is off to Mokia to try to keep the librarians from adding that kingdom to the Hushlands. Along the way, he gets a few surprises about his family and his talent. Fans of the series will love this latest adventure. It's filled with humor and action like all the others. Unfortunately, it also sets things up for a final book, which doesn't seem to be happening.

Meg's summer as maid of honor in three weddings for three different demanding brides is complicated enough before a dead body shows up. And there's the attractive man in town for the summer as well.... This is a fun, enjoyable series debut with plenty of humor. However, the mystery gets side tracked by all the antics of the characters at time. Still, this does start a series I love to this day.

When Mel is accused of murdering her best friend's fiancee, she has to set down her cupcake tins and start sleuthing to find the killer.

I've heard such praise for this series, and I didn't feel the debut quite lived up to the promise. However, I did find the plot good and the characters real. I enjoyed the book enough that I will continue on with the second in the series.

Meet Trixie, Honey, and Jim as the trio form a friendship and hunt for the treasure that is supposed to be in Jim's great uncle's old house.

This is a very favorite series from childhood on, and I just love meeting the characters again for the first time. They aren't quite themselves yet, and can be annoying as a result. Just know they grow stronger from their friendships by the next in the series.
