"She's so dirty. The rhymes by themselves are incredible, like “He called why I ain't beeped him, well I thought your ass was still sleeping”, it's so good. She was ahead of her time. There's always been sex, like Donna Summer just moaning on a record, but Kim was definitely filthy. And amazing. It was hella sexual but I don't think people give her props. I mean the album after that, The Notorious K.I.M, I almost put that instead. Her rhymes are unparalleled, she is such a fucking good rapper. She is incredible! And I don't think her sexuality overshadows her because it's so out there. The rhymes are about sex and that's what people are thinking, but it's just shockingly good. It is about sex and she is a woman and she is here, but just the rhymes are so incredible. They're fucking phenomenal. I think everyone respects Lil' Kim, but I think every woman artist is underrated. Honestly, aside from the big pop stars, if you are an artist or a producer or a writer, for the most part, you probably aren't going to get the respect that you deserve."

"The last film I’m going to list is a documentary about Red Hot Chili Peppers recording Blood Sugar Sex Magik that was called Funky Monks. It’s about an hour long, it’s shot in black and white, and it’s about them recording Blood Sugar Sex Magik in this house in Beverly Hills. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was arguably the most important album of my young adult life. It sort of put me on my musical path. I guess now, looking back on it, it’s not at all ironic that Funky Monks was the first documentary that I ever watched. It sort of set me on a documentary path, where it wasn’t just narrative movies that interested me, but also real-life stories told in documentary form were now available to me. It greatly influenced me, not only in the Tower Records documentary, but also in all the documentary work that I’ve done. It is, I find, an incredibly engaging film about a subject that I am very passionate about, which is that particular record, and that particular time, not only for that band, but for music in general."

A pretty decent comedy with more than a fair share of laughs. A real mix of sex/romantic comedies. Like most rom-coms it's predictable but also similar to the likes of American Pie in many ways. Overall quite funny at times and enjoyable enough to watch if you like these style of comedy films.
