For that bit near the end I have to say: GO LIAM, GO LIAM, GO LIAM!

As for the rest of the story, I loved the connection between Liam and Jon. It was instantaneous and I knew that something good was going to happen between them. We didn't even have to wait that long for it to happen, within the first 10% or so. I had goose-bumps!

I think that Jon was a little blind to Liam's behaviour. From before the half way point I could tell that something was happening in his life and it didn't take too much thinking about to figure it out.

That showdown at the end was really good though, hence my little cheer at the top. I'm so proud of Liam!

One thing that made me mark it down a little was the amount of sex in the book. Don't get me wrong, I love them together as a couple and some of the sweeter moments between them happened in bed but I can only read so many sex scenes before I get a little bored...

Other than that I really liked it!

I can't say I felt anything towards the characters in this. Jack was a man-whore and Belle was...experienced. I didn't get attached to anyone of them really, and the sex scenes were starting to annoy me (that's becoming a habit in some of these NA stories, lately)

I wasn't quite expected the ending, well, the bit near the end anyway. I thought that A Beautiful Rose would have continued their story but obviously I was wrong.

As a Brit, there were a few things that didn't ring true:
One thing I didn't get was how if they were all British, they didn't know the legal ages for sex. In my experience, everyone knows it. And considering what a man-whore Jack is/was how did he not know? I'm sure he had a posh schooling but even then I'm sure he started early, so by rights, he should have known. And another is Belle saying she was in her last year of college; in Britain it would have made her seventeen, not twenty-one, unless she'd had to do several extra years.

This book is based on a Cinderella story in an alternative universe that's mixed past with today's world!

Ella who has bee stripped of her titles has been invited by the new king Dane (Daniel) to a month long festival. By the end he is to choose a bride.

Dane and Ella have met before as children they were childhood sweethearts until he went to war and came back to news she was dead!

So as the story is well known they come together and we have a happy ending! This story is no different in that but May Sage has put a very adult spin on to it. Is it well written? In my opinion NO! I found it very patchy and rushed! The sex scenes were rushed and a little vulgar which is a shame as I was recommended this by a friend and really wanted to enjoy it!

Although I felt disappointed at the end of the book I will be reading the next one as I'm hoping they can improve!

Who knew that Sci-Fi could be so sexy! If you have any doubts then read the Fueled by Lust series. I've only just read Drusus but am moving on to Severus immediately as I fell in love with their world - both the human one and the one through the vortex. Lina is a curvaceous, witty 'human' who has accepted her body and loves it the way it is (makes a refreshing change!) whilst Drusus is just H-O-T! We're talking sex on a stick here. I wouldn't mind being swept away by him.

The wit is sharp, the sex is hot and the romance is sweet. Yes, it does all move fast - Lina admits that herself. However, with the help of a special fang necklace (trust me, it works!) they know that they are right for each other.

A sassy, sexy, hot read - perfect for those summer evenings. Definitely recommended.

I came here for HER.

Hardly sleeping, hardly human, I walked into the Lion's Den.

Once I entered, I knew I would never leave alive. But I had to do it; I had to END her for her betrayal.

But as she lies in front of me, the truth daggers through me.

I would cross the threshold between life and death just to touch her again.

So this book has some trigger warnings!!

It wasn’t as good as book one but I still enjoyed it. The author throws you into the sex and violence straight from the word go. Usually I don’t read this much in your face sex and violence but there is something about this author and her writ that drags you in. The last quarter of this book was so good I can’t wait to get into book 3 maybe after a few light reads haha!!! Please give them a go!!
