Obsessed book reviews (49 KP) rated Sex, Lies & Lingerie (Secrets And Lies #1) in Books

fantastic start to this series
This is the first book in this series by this author. This author has managed to bring two exceptional characters to lie in this book. You will find yourself lost within the pages as you read. This is a story about sex, lies and lingerie but there is also a love story as well. This book ends in a cliff hanger ending and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to read more from this author and in this series in the future.

Mariafrancesca (30 KP) rated I Call Myself A Feminist: The View from Twenty-Five Women Under Thirty in Books

Very inspiring book about what means to be feminist today and why it's still so important. Everything I have always said about being feminist (when I was told that I was the only one to think that, that feminism is not what I was trying to sell them, but it's a bunch of angry women that hate man and consider sex as rape) everything about equality, culture, education - issues that concern men as well as women - everything is in this book. Now I need to translate it and give it to everyone who told me at least once "you are overreacting, it's just a joke!"

fantastic read
Omg, this book is just amazing, I was up late reading it, just couldn't put it down. This book is filled up with swoon worthy moments, sex, hot and steamy scenes, banter and amazing characters. The characters have very intense hot and steamy chemistry between them as well as a strong connection. This is a sports college romance story with so much more added. This book has it all, fantastic characters, amazing story and lots of chemistry. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

A good espionage Thriller
I didn't see many reviews before seeing this, just a trailer. It's a very stylish spy thriller with some great cast members.
The trailer made it seem quite a seductive thriller, whilst it does have some sex scenes and nudity it's gratuitous rather than sexy. It's quite violent and brutal at times with some torture scenes.
Overall the story is interesting but not gripping and the pacing is up and down in the 2nd half of the film. Thankfully the ending was decent and Lawrence does well in a challenging role.

Awix (3310 KP) rated The Mountain Between Us (2017) in Movies

Strangers thrown together must endure a gruelling and interminable ordeal - I'm not talking about Idris Elba and Kate Winslet, but cinema audiences who unsuspectingly sit down to watch The Mountain Between Us.
Reasonably competent, I suppose, as a piece of storytelling, but really, really dull and predictable - takes a while to get going, and then another while to conclude once the actual story is finished. Also contains the leading candidate for Worst Sex Scene of the year - although who knows, maybe frostbite, malnutrition and incipient gangrene is just the thing to get most people in the mood, I don't know (it's been a while). Not actively bad, just very undistinguished.

Dr John Klaessson and his wife Naomi lose their son Halley to a genetic disease.
They decide to go to Dr Dettore who creates “designer babies” where you can choose sex, eye colour and much more. They ask for a boy without the genetic issues and end up with twins, Luke and Phoebe, but all is not as it seems.
Add to this a group, Disciples of The Third Millennium who want to kill anyone who goes to Dr Dettore and their children. Did the Klaessons make a good decision?

nope nope and nope i just couldn't force myself to read past the second chapter. i read fast and lose myself in a book but the fact that i could easily be distracted my lint instead of reading this book told me there was no point in going forward. The ending of the first book had me wanting to read this second one but the first chapter had me putting it back down for good. yes there was quite a bit of sex but the story line wasn't gripping me enough just found it bland i need dark n dangerous and this just isn't it sorry

It was a great read that I didn't want to put down. The tale of Joe is an imaginative one and you want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen between he and Beck next. Lots of swearing and sex scenes so it is not suitable at all for younger audiences. It is a thrilling view of what people may really be thinking about in the real world without you knowing about it.
