I was intrigued by the title, and surprised that I enjoyed this book. Written well, unique plot. It is about a writer that hears about and wants to write an article about an underground sex game called traveling sex game. I couldn't put it down. I would definitely read more books by this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.

Hmmm

This started really well but then it started to seem like it would be going on forever. I loved the interaction between the characters but the amount of sex scenes started to bore me after a while. I know they're wolves and all but there must have been about 20 sex scenes which was way too many for me and I started skipping them entirely nearer the end.

"God, I love huge breasts, and this one’s got two of the hugest-est. Also, it’s a coming-of-age teen sex comedy, but with fascism! Also, the boobs."

I knew I wouldn't like this novel when the lead couple was an ex-super model and a chef. Or maybe it was that sex was actually in the title of the novel. Or maybe it was because it lacked any form of romance or fantasy which was not made up for with the ridiculous sex scenes.

And ridiculous they were.

I say it once; I will say it a thousand times. When the man calls the woman "baby", the book should be burned. It's not sexy; it's trashy and annoying, especially when they don't even know each other. Now, I do love when my boyfriend calls me baby. But when you an erection on legs going after the hottest piece of tale near?

That was the first thing that ruined this book for me. Apparently the leads were just so horny that they jumped the first attractive opposite sex they met. And it was the greatest sex they have ever had. So much so, that they become addicted to having a sex with each other. I guess that must be the recipe for love because that's what ended up happening.

The other thing that annoyed me was the characters' bipolar behavior. One minute they were having delicious great sex, the next she was trying to kick him out. I feel like I may have massively missed something, like a few pages, because I was so confused by the change, I still have whiplash.

Excellent educational but still entertaining watch.
I really enjoyed Netflixes new offering of Sex Education it's something I can see appealing to a wide variety of ages, it gets across the issues in relationships and sex without making teenagers cringe and without making {this 30 year old) roll their eyes too. I laughed, I cried, I learnt new things and I would highly recommend it to young teenagers as it does come across very sensible with the world of sex without sort of turning them away as it puts it across in a very entertaining manner.

The only reason it got 9 out of 10 and not 10 is because the series finale upset and I'm stubborn.

My and my other half struggled with that too. It's very confusing. It's as if they couldn't make their mind up so just did a bit of everything haha.

Apparently the director was hugely influenced by John Hughes films like the breakfast club and wanted to get that feeling across hence the 80's feel. It was also designed to have appeal both here and in the USA but was set in the UK.

Pretty confusing though I do agree!

"Bad Behavior is largely about sex, but it’s not cheesy or cheap. In this book of short stories, Gaitskill writes about women in the sex industry, people in power play relationships, S&M, and the general psychology of people who engage in so-called “bad behaviors” in a way that’s honest, sometimes brutal, and always beautiful. (For example, the darkly erotic film Secretary was adapted from a story in the book.) I first read this book around the time that I started Slutever, my blog about sexuality that still exists today, and it gave me confidence that writing about sex was a legitimate pursuit, and could be seen as intelligent, meaningful, and maybe even poetic."
