"We’ll start with the cheese. [laughs] I’ve seen Dirty Dancing about a million times in my life. Always a good one. Just because, you know, I watched it as a teenager and your hormones are going crazy at that point and you’re like, oh my god, “Nobody puts baby in the corner!” I dreamed about being a dancer. And Patrick Swayze was so sexy in that film; a guy who can dance is always so attractive. It was just like a dream being swept off your feet — one of those fantasy films."

WHAAAA--IT CAN'T JUST END AT 96% AND LIKE THAT!! I was expecting it to carry on and for them to kick arse! Oh well, I'll just have to wait for book 3 in the series now wont I. *sigh*

I am still very much Team Roth. It was touch and go for a while but he won out in the battle of the two hotties. Sorry Zayne, but you just haven't got Roth's swagger and you may be sweet but Roth's just plain sexy.

"My parents got divorced when I was about eight, and after that I moved with my mother from St. Louis to Boston. I became her movie pal, and she would take me to some very inappropriate movies! This was one of them. The Graduate has one of my favorite montages ever—that one where Dustin Hoffman jumps off a diving board and lands on Anne Bancroft’s chest! It’s sexy and beautiful, but it also captures how this young man spirals into a state of jadedness over the course of a summer."

The movie builds dread with its narrative, but amplified by Polanski’s masterful technique, it becomes effortlessly menacing. The movie is still riveting and suspenseful after multiple viewings, maybe because it’s anchored in reality and so beautifully simple—the horror is played out within the realities of a modern marriage in late-’60s Manhattan and the “God is dead” movement. Second only to Chinatown in Polanski’s oeuvre."

"I love the movie Bullhead. I’m working with the director now. He’s kind of putting the light into a business, a very dirty business — it’s not the cool gangsters, it’s not the kind of sexy gangster world; it’s the gritty, very uncharming world of criminals working in the meat industry in Belgium. And the whole backstory to this lead guy is so incredible. I was in tears a couple of times when I saw it. And now I’m gonna work with Matthias [Schoenaerts] and with Michaël R. Roskam, who directed it."

This was a very sweet short-story/novella that follows the story of two friends who lose touch for ten years before meeting again at one of their businesses. They quickly fall back into the friends rolls they used to have and phone each other regularly, meet up whenever they're both in town and flirt with each other.

I really liked it for the romance aspect. It was sweetly sexy with the dancing and the drinking and the flirting and the ending had me smiling like a loony because it was cute.
