"I also love 2046 by Wong Kar Wai, a film which I thought was so beautifully shot, with an incredible story. I love that he uses the location as a character. He has a very romantic way, a very sexy way of presenting everything, and the cinematography in that is absolutely stunning. He obviously has a very strong vision for what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. All of his movies, I think they’re very intimate: They don’t always require huge stages, but he always seems to capture something in a very small area. I like the way he presents things. He creates an atmosphere and you get swept into it right away."

"Finally another American band. Aerosmith. They are a classic rock & roll band. What am I gonna say? It's just such a sexy, gritty record. I think I've said this about a lot of these records [laughs]. But it's got vibe, you know... Aerosmith have a kind of danger element to them. You know the history of the band, it's well-documented. You could hear it almost coming apart at the seams almost all the time, and the fact that it didn't... They were just riding that line. The rhythm section was amazing. The way Brad Whitford and Joe Perry played together... I mean, give it a listen, it's a classic rock album."

I was surprised that I liked this so much. I think it was the fact that the romance took up a good 50% or so of the book, the other 50% being the hunt for the demon that Cady believed killed the three people her parents had been accused of killing.

I still haven't decided if Lon is attractive (wavy longish hair and moustache?) but I have to admit that despite the age difference between him and Cady that I really like the thought of them as a couple. Some of the scenes between them were just amazingly sweet and others were just plain sexy.

I cannot wait to read more of this series!
