Some bear to love ( Polar Heat book 2)
By Terry Bolryder

When Kim Starling wins a free Caribbean vacation, she knows it's her last chance at adventure. Two weeks in the sun, and then she goes back to the arranged mating she's been doomed to from birth. Easy enough, until her guide turns out to be sexy Sebastien Weston, an alpha-bear sea captain who might just be her mate.

Sebastien doesn't know what to do with curvy, luscious Kim. He swore he'd never take a mate, but he can't seem to take his eyes off of the adventurous she-bear who always seems to be getting in trouble. But after a daring rescue and a kiss in the ocean, Sebastien and Kim can't help falling into a fling that sizzles like a tropical sun, but can only last two weeks.

But the more he's with Kim, the more Sebastien is realizing that two weeks isn't enough. Can he overcome his past and fear of taking a mate in time to find a way to free Kim from her family? Or will he lose the mate of a lifetime?

A very sweet romance a quick read too! As shifter books go it’s pretty what you’d expect.

"We didn't watch many films in preparation for Teenage because licensing features is incredibly expensive. Also because there weren't that many specifically about youth culture as something different from adult culture. On the other hand there were some significant films that were about the problems of youth that were taken up by the youth audience. One of them is It starring Clara Bow, the original 'It Girl'. Clara Bow is the most amazing screen presence, a huge silent star. She was fantastically sexy but also very alluring. One of those people that just lights up the screen when she's on it. A lot of people thought It was rather scandalous and tried to ban it. In the film she's a working girl but beautiful and cheeky, who marries a rich guy, so it's a classic Hollywood fantasy fulfilment role, one of the first times it was done. There was a whole moral panic about the movie and Clara Bow, so it was very popular amongst kids. There are earlier teenage films like Flaming Youth from 1923, but we don't know if a print still exists, we tried to find one and couldn't. There's a whole phase of college movies from the twenties and they've all disappeared."

"Led Zeppelin, goddamn! I don't think they made a bad record! There's that classic line from Cameron Crowe's movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High where they're cruising around, talking about how to get chicks. And the guy says: ""If you wanna score with a chick, turn out side two of volume four!"" I've used that a few times actually. It works [laughs]! Anyway if it didn't work, it was a nice soundtrack while it was going down. Jimmy Page is another guitar player that means a lot to me. Every member of that fucking band: John Paul Jones was an amazing writer, arranger and producer, as well as Jimmy. Plus John Bonham and Robert Plant... that's one of the greatest rock & roll bands of all times. It's just straight-up, fucking sexy, kick ass and shit, man! All the way from dirty low-down rock & roll to the biggest orchestral tracks like ‘Kashmir’. They travelled a lot of ground while keeping their roots intact, the blues. You know, certain bands really resonate in certain areas and that was one band that was always popular up there where I come from, the Northwest. You have at least ten fucking Zeppelin songs that you can jam with anybody at any time."

Let me begin by making a confession, I’ve always been a Harry Potter fan, and all the books are real gifts of God (in this case J.K. Rowling) to me. I personally think that not only children will enjoy this story, but grownups as well, because it has something to offer for both. After reading this delightful book I noticed, that the characters are really strong and very diverse. We have some shy ones, some sassy and sexy ones and also powerful and dominant ones. I really liked this variety of characters as it made the book interesting. This creation has very fast paced and adventurous story going on in there, which I really enjoyed as it didn’t make me bored. It is absolutely true that this story is of magic, friendship, love and good winning against evil. It’s absolutely awesome. As this book is original movie script it is very easy to read it and pages just fly past. Unfortunately, if you saw the movie there is no really need to read it, because it’s exactly the same as the book. However, if you got your hands on the book first, don’t forget to see the film and compare your vision of this book with the movie director’s.

Cool Science Fiction Flick
Old Movie Revisited: The Machine. This was a pretty sweet movie! A way to describe it is part: Terminator prequel; Caprica; RoboCop; Species; Blade Runner; Universal Soldier... I think I could name a few more but, I'll stop there. So as you can tell its not an overly original story but was presented well. It's the story of Vincent, played by Toby Stephens(his celebrity mash up would be Michael Fassbender and Damian Lewis) who's a scientist dude, and he creates the world's first self aware cyborg in the form of super hot Ava, played by super hot Caity Lotz(with those eyes she had better play vampire at some point!). Of course the gov't wants The Machine for war, and Vincent wants to save his little dying girl... Who will win, where does that leave Ava and her sexy ass-kicking ways?? You'll have to watch to find out! If you dug any of those movies above I'd say check it out!! It is not an explosive all out destruction of man kind action movie, just a cool robot awakens movie, with a hot blonde kicking soldiers asses, and walking around nude, thank you Caity! Check it out... filmbufftim on FB
