"Number four I would have to say is the best one out of all of them: Aliens. That’s just one of those movies that I think was so well done. It was ahead of its time. [James Cameron] was just ahead of his time — it was so well written, so well acted. I loved the extended version of Aliens because it shows just a little bit more that you don’t see and what they always show on television. The drones shooting aliens, a lot of things like that, which I thought was great. I just thought Ripley was never better — I thought Sigourney Weaver was never better — than [when] she was in Aliens. Now Alien kinda had a slow start; you kinda had to get into it. These guys weren’t really prepared for [the] alien — some kind of breakdown with the crew, [that] kind of like reminded me of a play. But Aliens just kinda jumped in feet first man, and just went for it, absolutely. And by there being so many of the aliens it just heightened the danger that they all faced. You sat on the edge of your seat, you know, scared to death. So, I really love that movie."

Okay, look - I'm a straight man... but I'd let Robert Redford fuck *me* for a million dollars. First hour >>> second hour, but some seriously luscious looking pulp from one of the resounding kings of shooting gorgeous people looking into picturesque backgrounds. Still to date one of my favorite film premises, so it's a shame that it goes for a more conventional romance and doesn't hold all its weight in the second half like it did in the much more mysterious, sick intrigue of the first. God-level Redford, I'd like to think this is what Alexander Pierce from 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘳 did in his free time. Harrelson overreacting to everything is fucking hilarious, can't believe they played all this deliciously goofy portent straight. Speaking of which, the fact that we're supposed to empathize with either of these assholes is demeaning. Though as a result, rather than viewing this perhaps deservedly maligned piece as outright misogyny - imo I think this works best at showing the lengths either extreme of man will go to treat women like property, a vaguely cartoonish version mind you, but it isn't too far off from the unfortunate reality. Lurid, engaging, occasionally funny (intentional and not so) 90s psychopathic businessman trash.

Nas is a legendary emcee from Queensbridge, New York. Not too long ago, he released a lavish audiovisual for his “No Bad Energy” single, released via Mass Appeal Records.

“I’m oblivious to you skeptics. What you hear you ain’t ever hear ’til I repped it. Iridescent heroes essence, please clear the exits. I chase demons outdoors, force ’em to hear the message, air ’em out. Heard some people discussing my whereabouts. Yeah, it’s been a few sightings of me, a fair amount. Never seen much, but yet I’m never in the house. Move in style, wild, exciting when I do step out.” – lyrics

‘No Bad Energy’ finds an introspective Nas detailing facts about his legendary status, his brother Jungle’s musical success, and the sacrifices his father had to make to make ends meet.

Later, he raps about other rappers who rap about other people’s lives. They never shot anyone but be shooting people in their rhymes.

Also, Nas drops gems like, “What doesn’t come out in the wash comes out in the rinse”, and “Whoever put you in the position to have a say-so should be questioned them self.”
