Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Riding Steele: Aftershock (Riding Steele, #6) in Books

I hate the way a lot of authors divide their book into a short page series, I can only think that it is to get as much money out of the reader as possible for a book that isn't really that good and sadly thats what I think about this. It started off really good but slowly went downhill as the series progressed

Ross (3284 KP) rated Parks and Recreation - Season 1 in TV

This is a decent but short (6 episodes) first series of what is a highly acclaimed sit-com. I like the style (mockumentary) and the small cast of characters. The best moments are when the cast just go on a random rant/list weird things, which feels ad-libbed and hilarious. With the characters introduced I hope the comedy ramps up from here.

Great beginning hook (2 more)
Keeps a good pace
Not typical vampire story
The start of a great series!!!
This is BY FAR one of my favorite book series. The authors set it up really well and give backstory and pertinent information without getting lost in flashbacks or dragging on forever. Plus I like the references to native American culture and mythology!
This is the place to start if you've never read any of Asimov's books. I, Robot is a collection of short stories that will introduce you to the Asimov universe. It will start you on a wonderful journey over thousands of years as you venture through the robot novels to the galactic empire novels and finally to the foundation series.

A very cute short story, by the makers of Kipper, about what Jasper the cat is going to buy with his birthday money.
My 2 year old daughter really likes this book as she loves cats. I added in some of my own sound effects here and there but she's beginning to recognise most of the items in the shop now.

This is first book I have read in the Witcher world as I thought it would be best to start with a short story collection since I have only played the third game. I enjoyed the stories and the monsters and I can't wait to read more within this world. I think that it is an interesting world with brilliant characters

Strange
This was a weird one. It's an interesting concept but really wasn't explained very well. Just suddenly all parents want to kill their kids... literally. The acting wasn't bad, the cinematography was fine but the storyline came up short. Didn't really have much of an ending. Nothing was resolved. Anyway, it's entertaining enough if you're bored. Kinda worth a watch.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and had my wish granted to read it by White Lion Publishing.
I really enjoyed this book. It's really short considering how much information is in it which is pretty impressive!
I really enjoyed the illustrations.
Honestly, though? What i enjoyed most was being introduced to filmmakers I'd never heard of before.
